Nice looking black dialer

I'm really diggin' this dialer and I'm wondering if someone can make it work with the "awesomest" ROM around. (yes, I know that's not a word).

The main problem is the back space key on the bottom right and the call history key on the left not having the right look; but they do work correctly.

I've attached the CAB in case anyone is willing.

The SE ROM will be a nice treat for everyone as a celebration for my 2 million views (Since it will be the first thread ever to reach such a plateau). I will not wait till it hits 2 million, that's just torture. But I can say i expect when the release hits, the amount of traffic in here will take it to 2 million easily.

He never said releases anywhere in there.. although 'releases' would be nice.

That would appear to be a GSM dialer, since the GSM network has different capabilities for starting up Conference calls with other persons.. (bottom right button)...

since you say the functionality works,.. then it'd just be a matter of extracting the image and modifying it for our CDMA functions.

... NOT that I know how to do that, or am offering.. tjElite has thrown around a few dialers.. so, maybe he's got the skillz to give us a black CDMA Dialer that looks like the example you've posted.

I've searched the forum and haven't found a solution (or answer) to a problem I've been having.

I'm running the latest build, have also tried applicable fixes listed on the wiki (and in the forums.)

I like to play my music which is stored as MP3s in a music directory on my SD card, through my car radio via bluetooth. I'm currently using the regular Music Tab and do not have any special add-ons. Randomly my music to the radio cuts out completely. It does not appear to stop as when it returns (if it returns) it is further along in the song.

Anybody have any ideas as to what could be causing this? This problem did not occur previous to this build.

Has anyone tried VITO SMS-Chat with this? I can say I tried it last evening and was stuck with a message sent notification after ever txt...it did not go away after uninstalling and I was forced to do a hard reset. In any case I was not that impressed with the software. Although EXTREMELY quick compared to HTC messaging or even WM messaging, it marks txts are read b4 a notification in WM is played if you leave the chat open and minimize. This is extremely annoying bc this is overlay software and I'm sure not going to exit the prog and reopen everytime I get a new txt.

Does anyone have a better solution than using SMS-Chat or HTC Messaging. I use WM Messaging most of the time and would not complain if I could disable HTC all the time. As I have found, there is no way to do this on the new versions of Sense.

Much of this stems from the issue that when I open the keyboard in HTC messaging, it does not place my cursor in the txt box as it did in some of the older Mightys and I then have to tap it everytime...Is this normal or is it something I have installed?

The problem is Mighty fans are spread out amongst the differing projects, tally them all up and you win. :)

I also made a SPB Backup prior to install, so I could revert back if necessary. I recommend that be done for anyone trying this, just to be safe.
Without installing it, here is what I have to say...

I think this is the one no2chem made for tp1...

Here is the CAB for Galarm 2.5. This version is very stable very nice layout. I had no problem installing this version. I uninstalled 2.3 and installed this one and all my settings including Registration number was ported over..

I just looked up the TP2 process and you are right with the 528MHz. The nice thing about the install, is that you can step down the speed when idle, to increase battery life.

Unless I am crazy, the phone opens programs, and switches screens much more faster with the cab installed then without, so something is happening.

Not sure on your No2Chem reference, but this site has some pretty advanced stuff:

Can't see see Wifi network with MightyROM RhodiumW CDMA WWE
 
So I've been using the MightyROM RhodiumW CDMA WWE custom ROM for a while now and it's been great. But....

Just recently I wanted to try the WiFi Router so I turned it on. It seemed to turn on; it shows that it's "Ready to accept connections" and the antenna shows up at the top of the screen. But the problem is I that can't see the "MightyROM" WiFi network from either my personal laptop or my work laptop (both Lenovos).

I thought maybe that my TouchPro2 wasn't broadcasting the SSID so I setup a connection manually, but it won't connect.

Any ideas?

Well, if it helps, it's not always fun and games. When Mike released his latest ROM based off of the Sprint one, everything on Verizon broke. Mike and I must've spent 10 hours over 2 days on MSN talking almost non-stop while trying to find out why everything was breaking. I think I hard reset my phone 50 times that weekend alone... and that was just me. Other testers were working on other stuff that was breaking on other carriers too

If you haven't already, be sure to sincerely thank Mike (maybe even with your pocketbooks ;) )for the hard work he puts into these ROMs - especially you guys on Verizon :thumbleft:

It was my reward for the new program I finished last night for him, I even flashed it while watching hockey, I don't recommend that. And I had to let my official beta tester test it too, thanks Eschelon for all your hard work.

You guys are in for a real treat with this one. He's updated a lot of stuff, it runs great, low memory usage, etc.... I could go on and on, but that's Mike's job, not mine.

Just be patient as we work out a few kinks, one of which I decided would make Mike and I even more famous, at least in our own minds, hopefully all of yours too.

I just hope it won't be dropping Sunday since I won't be home all day. Would hate to visit the site on my phone and see that it's released while I'm gone.
