Doesn't seem anyone answered this for you. Per one of Ziggy's notes, I think this is the answer - "HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\IsShortcutEnable=dword:0 . That's why they keep coming back, yours is set to one. If you install the cab I made for the start menu, that's what I did to get rid of them."

Is it possible to make this wall paper go landscape view too without doubling the picture just curious would like it better if i was able to do that ?

Another question for you guys. Last couple of ROMS had this folder. Widgets are java/Android apps or what exactly consists of a Widget?

As for my previous problem - Reflashed the Rom and its whistling away without any probs. Thanks All

The doubling effect is because the stock 6.5 start menu tiles the background...very unfortunate I know...try Manila bg4all...almost got her in the right spot...:evil4:

Hey guys love this version of mighty rom but im haing one huge problem when ever i send or recieve a text my phone pauses for ruffly 30 seconds give or take is there anything i can do to help this. ive hard reset twice

That one would be fine, but should it replace the Mighty Rom splash screen sense it is a Mighty Rom picture?

It's not hard to make your own splashscreen, you can do it yourself with any image you want, any time you want

Just get your picture cut down to the right size (480X800) and then save it as a .png image titled (without the quotes) "welcomehead.192.png"

Then use total commander or resco explorer and dump the image in the \Windows folder (and overwrite the existing one if it asks). Then reboot and you'll see your image as your new spashscreen

Are you restoring your text messages after each flash, by chance? Like are you using pimbackup or myphone or whatever to place all your old messages back on the phone?

If so, that's where the lag is coming from

Re-size the image to 480x800

You can do this with Photoshop, Microsoft Office picture manager, and a whole host of other utilities. Some websites will even do it for you. Just google :thumbleft:

He means to resize the image to 480x800 that way the phone will not have to shrink/stretch it for you and it should look it's best :)

Just don't restore them back to your phone. You can keep them uploaded to MyPhone where you can pull them up online if you ever needed them, but just don't sync the texts back to your phone and you'll see the lag disappear

bg4all is the only option for complete wallpaper on every tab? I cant seem to get hdwalls working :(

I also have a nice taskbar skin if anyone would like even tho it says hd2 at the bottom center

Color Taskbar by m6silver seems to work great with this version of mighty rom i have no issues coming from it and it gives the taskbar a more colorful look HeRe

it didnt seem to break anything and since i couldnt get the "proxyname" to stick with the youtube version on your AWESOME ROM sir im using the attached version which by the way is a great alternative for anyone having cricket or metro pcs issues with YOUTUBE however it doent seem to support landscape but its a sacrifice i can live with till a "FiX" is found for the latest version:twisted::angel4::banghead::withstupid:

Thanks worked perfectly btw for other users dont forget to back up the original welcomehead i also got popdog to work on one maybe his will look different and have the windows symbol on it too :)

This looks like the best option for a dark dialer I've seen yet... I hate the green on this rom's dialer. Can you please release this? Thanks!

I have searched the web and found nothing that relates to why I am getting this below error message. I did not change any default directories for My Documents as seems to be the most common response.

Anyone run into this error?
Not saying it is related to the 3-23-10 ROM. Just one of the installs that I did from the Paperclip of this forum.

"could not create the voice link recording directory"


Just an update to the above error.

I have been successful with the modification to the My Documents directory, making it Un Hidden via Total Commander, resolving the
"could not create the voice link recording directory" error message. It has been over a week now and I have not had the error message pop up. The fix was listed somwhere on XDA Developers I believe, so credit goes to them.

To Recap, if you recevie the error:
"could not create the voice link recording directory" just adjust the properties of the My Documents folder on the main phone memory, and make in NOT HIDDEN.

When replying to a text using the messaging tab (so you are in the HTC text conversation, not the WM one), is there a setting (via regedit or cab) that makes the cursor ready in the text entry area when the hardware keyboard is opened?

It's one of those little annoying things to make sure you tap the text window before typing. I've been searching since yesterday for a solution. Thanks.

A lot of the links in the wiki point directly to posts that were here before the thread got scrubbed by Mighty prior to the release of this latest ROM. You are seeing that message because you are trying to click on a link to a cab/post that is now archived and, therefore, only accessable to moderators and forum admins

If anyone needs a cab in the wiki that is no longer available, just ask for it in this thread and we'll all do our best to dig it up for you

I'm just looking for a cab to place in my quick links to lock my phone. I have the soft key as lock right now but I'm looking for the Lock similar to the one in NRG's rom.
