How do I enable the manilla start menu? I dislike 6.5 menu because you only have the choice to move to top instead of placing shortcut icons where you want them. I tried this cab but no luck. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...89&postcount=2

I'm using the same taskbar as well as the cdma fix for it and I haven't had any problem as well been using since downloading your newest creation. So if I'm understanding correctly the sound will go away no ringer no notification nothing like that if so let me know and what would be a cool taskbar replacement and that is 100% compatible with your rom thank you. Also anyway to change the dialer I know I've asked a few times but haven't got a response. Thank you

for the task bar try the darkninja _android . I beleive Curtis just added to the wiki.

For the dialer I think tjElite is working on one for us.

I know the old SenseUI2.1 stuff is a tad outdated, but anything in the SenseUI2.5 areas should work just fine :)

Had some issues myself last night, it wound up being the usual suspect of unchecking "Enable faster data synchronization" in USB to PC connection settings, not sure if that will do it for you but perhaps.

Thanks, yeah I just went through every setting page and could not find it. Talk time usage stats always showed 0's for me on stock 6.1 so I'm very curious to see if it works now, but of course cannot find it lol! :)

Trust me bro so far this task bar is fully compatible don't try to fix something thats not broken. As far as the dialer tjELITE on page 116 post #1151 says he is working on one so just bookmark his site which is in his sig and if you have twitter go follow

Not MR specific but I am on the new ROM and am inclined to stay, barring a minor issue.

Is there a way to disable the weather graphic on the home screen clock?

My case: Notice if you are in the People or Settings tabs, how much smoother the slider moves?

I'm looking for a tweak that keeps the slider from moving choppy as hell on the home screen. It seems related to the weather graphics on the clock; things were smooth sailing before I enabled My Location (which allowed weather data to download). This is not wallpaper (animated vs. weather) related.

Am I the only one with this issue? I realize the value of this ROM and appreciate the dedication to a solid product, but the interface feels very similar to stock 6.5 (Sprint) in performance.

My phone froze. It was hanging on the boot screen all day. The only way to turn it off was to pull the battery and keep trying again and again. I was going to cry to everybody here to see if anybody had any ideas after spending all day not being able to get my phone to move past the main screen.

Literally, as I was typing the message I tried again and it booted up, although very slowly. It had reseted though back to the provisioning screen and it is going really slow through the Verizon provisioning so I don't think it is quite right.

Anybody have any ideas?

UPDATE: Nevermind for now... It's still moving extremely slowly, but I'm going to download a new copy of the ROM and reinstall to see if I can get it, if not, I'll provide more details on everything I did.

I am new to Mighty roms... I am coming from the Verizon stock 6.5 rom.....

I love it so far, except for messaging is extremely slow. The problem is closing it... especially if you are looking at an mms attachment. When you close messaging, it just seems to haaaannngg there. Its not just a few seconds, it can take minutes to close. The first couple of times, I thought that the os was locked, and I pulled the batteries out. I uninstalled [imnuts Verizon ArcSoft MMS 5.2.12.45 20100204] and had the same problem. Then found that attachments would not open, so reinstalled.

Is there a workaround / fix for this? Are others experiencing the same issue? I have read a few posts on messaging being slow, but none elaborate......

Did you re-sync all your old text messages back to your phone after the flash? If so, that's what is causing the problem

To disable animations, use a reg editor and go here:
HKCU\SOFTWARE\HTC\Manila
Home.WallpaperMode Set this to 2

Soft reset and you are done. :mrgreen:

Keep in mind if you change wallpapers this will reset.

I have had a hellacious time with this new rom, random screen lock, slowness, touchscreen not acting right, data disconnects, mail and messaging tab on sense acting goofy. I am gonna flash dance and hard reset about 5 times. Back to Sprint 6.1 stock first, then the latest USC radio that supposively has no SOD's, then install the latest MightyRom release. Hopefully this fixes my problems........uggggggggggg!!

FYI: did not install anything but the MMS cab and ziggy's start menu cab.

I'd install sprint's new 6.5 ROM and then flash dance back around to MR and see if that doesn't cure your problem.

I am staying clear of that Sprint stock 6.5 rom, that is when my issues began and thats how I did it the first time I installed the new release. Taking a different approach this time.

well after loading back 6.1, things running good on it. Installed the USC radio. Now loading MR. Hopefully this takes care of it. I was about to throw this phone off the nearest bridge. However, I was scared to pollute the water under the bridge. I know it wasn't MR causing my issues.

you don't need to soft reset when you change that value.

I've looked high and low for this (don't know if I'm searching right or not), but on this ROM (which I love BTW --> is fast and no lockups at all) I don't have the little arrow at the far right to show running programs... I thought there was an options to "show programs in task bar" but can't seem to find it...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Seems after two hard resets, flash to stock and flash to usc radio, and flash back to MightyRom, my issues seem to be gone. Played around with it before the clear storage and I like my phone again!! wheeew! thank god!~
