For the people who have the same problem as mi, caused by myPhone and active sync. Double contacts, tasks and calender appointments. Found a little cab that helped find and erase them. It's at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523804

still on stock rom, not really having any issues, but then again not really doing anything important enough to warrant the change... (99% uptime since the StockSprint release)

does anyone happen to keep a "bug" list (you know like a bug tracker) I have seen quite a few things reported (over 75% of them user/.cab related) and id just like to see whats up... (for MR of course not Stock)

IF you are talking about a bug report for his latest release, no there is not one. I usually help with those, but he hasn't asked me to put one together because there aren't many bugs. Most of them, as you said, are Mod related.

this is WAR, Love has been dropped, but IMPACT will be showing its crater creating self at a later date under a different tag, that thread has been archived (essentially archived, most of it was merged with the Sense2.1 thread, of which this thread is the remnants)

So simply:
WAR = This thread
LOVE = DEAD
IMPACT = looking for a highly populated area to cause max damage... er i mean joy

Rhodium is the HTC code name for the Touch Pro 2....


War is a title created by Mighty Mike for his 6.5, Sense 2.5 ROMS.

Rhodium is the model name of the phone....As was stated before, this thread is now for the current version of War. Click the link on the first page to download the file off Mighty's website and you will have the latest version of what was formerly called War.

I had issues, but it was due to some registry edits that I was making that didn't seem to agree with the ROM. Took several hours to figure out what was causing the problem though.

If a cab fails to uninstall, that means that one or more files that were part of the cab you're trying to uninstall have been either removed or over-written by another cab you installed. As far as I know, re-installing it should work and allow you to fully install the cab, which will then allow you to uninstall it properly, but it could have unintended consequences since you're over-writing and removing files that are apart of another or multiple cabs.

I had multiple random issues with my phone, but the primary one was that Manila was highly unstable and would crash after a few hours, and then after the first crash, it would be every few minutes. The problem was that it wouldn't always be the same thing that caused the problem and there were varying lengths of time between issues. I found my problem by going through each of the registry/file changes I was making through XDA_UC one by one (actually a few at a time) and soft resetting my device and using it for a little bit to find the issue. The changes I was making caused 0 issues on any of the past ROMs (War, Impact, Love, & Stable), but something about the new base, the drivers, or something else that was changed or updated did not agree with the changes I was making (turned out to be 2 things) and caused loads of issues. Now that I found the problem and got rid of it, my phone is running as fast as the last Sense 2.1 ROM that I was using with nearly the same memory usage on boot (49-50% used). So, I'm going to go with the others in that it's not the ROM, it's something that you're doing as mine is now as stable as the last stable version released.

On another note, I'm not sure if others have seen this and found it equally annoying, but I don't want my screen to rotate unless I open the keyboard and I disable the Auto-Rotation feature. However, Opera still rotated and was ignoring the gsensor setting to disable auto-rotate. Tried removing Opera from the whitelist and it still happened. Looked around online and found that Opera has its own GSensor key in the registry and most people solved it by putting the poll timer at a really large number. Didn't like that though as it could still allow it to rotate which I didn't want. Tried a couple things and finally found that removing the GSensor key gets rid of auto-rotation in Opera with no noticed side effects. In case others would also like to disable auto-rotation in Opera, I made a cab that will apply the change for you.

I have mightrom that was released on Feb 4 2010 I believe with sense 2.1. I would like to upgrade to the version that was updated on Mar 23 2010 with sense 2.5. Can I just download the Mar 23 and just install it or I have heard that I have to download the stock sprint rom install that one first then install mightyrom from Mar 23. Can some please let me know. Thx

I never did flash to stock. I went from mighty 2.1 to 2.5 and have no issues. I did hard reset the device though after installing 2.5.

Right. 1 clear storage. If you have issues like slow, something doesn't work right then do it again and don't install anything. If it isn't slow and everything works then check what you installed. If it is still slow flash to stock then back.

Okay I'm not sure which cab I played with did this, but somehow the dialpad buttons in my dialer got shifted up a notch above the "talk" button (see the attached image). No big deal except that the sensitive areas are in their normal resting spot. I'm assuming something left some file designed for VGA screens on my device. Does anybody know what file or registry setting has to do with dialer button graphics positions? I uninstalled anything remotely related to the dialer or phone and it's still messed up...

EDIT: Solved my own problem. There's a registry setting that sets up "Extra Large Buttons" for the phone user that is all thumbs. ;-) If anybody else has this issue, go into a registry editor and change HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\XXLKeyPad to 0, then soft reset.

Actually my friend, i think you take things a little too seriously. Of course everyone here is entiltled to their own opinion. But we are all here because we want to be and because whe appreciate ALL the hard work that Mike and the other chef put in. they litterally put in hundreds of hours for major releases like this. If you have any problems everyone here is more that willing to help you solve those problems, but no one is here to be negative and bad mouth anything. If you dont like like please move on and leave the BS where it belongs. We are here because we like modding our phones and helping other do the same thing. We dont knock anyone for what they do, no matter how much or little they do. We may make fun of people from time to time. But who doesn't make fun of people that they talk to all the time.

If anyone can get me the default settings for Boost Mobile for ArcSoft, I'll gladly make a cab for it. If it's as simple as making that one change for it to work with Boost and Sprint, I can do that, but I feel as though there is likely something else different between the actual settings and Sprint settings. It just so happens to work because Sprint owns Boost. Oddly enough, when I was getting a bunch of cabs together to find working settings, I found a Sprint labeled cab that people had working with VZW server settings in it...

There are 2 ways of doing this:

I would advise that you try to better word your posts in the future. If you had simply asked where the older versions of MightyROM are stored several people would have likely sent you a link to the Wiki

Can a few Sprint/Boost users test this cab for MMS to see if it still works for Sprint users and works without issue for Boost users.
