Disable HTC Manila-style Notifications (brings back windows mobile bubbles)

does anyone know what registry key is used to enable the MyLocation feature? I want to make a reg cab that will turn it on upon installation.

Enable the 'My Location' service. Then back up the entire HKLM\Software\Google key and then restore it after every flash to turn on 'My Location' automatically

adds this cool battery icon (courtesy of TSOWEN. WM 6.5 Custom Taskbar) works with 1% battery increments.

installs phcanOverbmp.dll in /windows and proper registry values.

thanks thought it was just me i cant wait for a new impact when mikes use that official 6.5.5 treo pro rom i bet it will have 90mb at boot since this one has a hundred cant wait til he starts that and ill be camping the thread like this one lol :) oh does anyone of any good 6.5.x tashbar besides android and dusk ?

I bought an HTC TP2 with mightyrom already installed (Jan. 20, 2010). I have already turned my phone on through cricket and got everything working. My phone runs pretty sluggish. So I checked out the site and found the update. I just have couple of questions. If I update, will my phone still work on the cricket network? Or will I have to have cricket set up my phone again? Please advise. Thank you for your support.

Sometimes I can't reply to a txt message by tapping the message from the Sense Tab. I have to open the 'All Messages' window to reply.

DONT PANIC this just means that your location is set to off it does it everytime you fully turn off your phone.

TO FIX IT open your dialer and GO TO

MENU>OPTIONS>CDMA SERVICES>LOCATION SETTINGS>and then click ok and the line should disappear

note: memorize this or jot it down as it does it every time you fully turn off your phone as in not STANDBY BUT OFF

I believe you're right, and I know this has been working for most. Perhaps I should mention (Since I forgot to before) that I'm on a sprint phone using boost mobile cdma as my carrier. This may be no problem for the way things are set up on a normal sprint phone, but for some reason it didn't play nice with boost. Usually I just change the server address and it will take right off. Everything else remains the same, as it uses sprint's network for everything anyway. I only saw this as a way to further diversify the file for use with better support. In retrospect, I guess if the file works, it works, but if it does not, the reg settings provided in my original post are an option. If it fixed it for me by only being more specific in telling the reg that my phone is actually what it is, and seeing as the current key value entry is obviously not the phone model anyone here is using, I guess I was saying "diversify" and you are say don't fix what aint broken. Perfectly fine by me. I can do a few reg changes when I need them. Food for thought if you ever plan on doing an update to the 5.2.12.62 version that came with the new sprint rom. I only found it on one rom so far. Not sure of what updates are involved.

So who else's phone just randomly decides it doesn't feel like coming back from standby sometimes? I can pull the stylus but all that gets me are the keys lit up in white for about 3 seconds. Also, whose phone takes like 4 and a half minutes to boot into the sense UI?

to backup stocks setup all your stocks, then backup ygoservice.db and ygoservice_sr.db and both are stored in \Application Data\HTC\YGo, copy them back there whenever you flash or HR.

I have heard that this cab works very well for SMS and MMS for Sprint users.
Install, soft reset and it works. So I'm told.
I do not have Sprint, so can't confirm it personally.

Is it just me or are a lot people having hard reset issues with 3/23? I am running a clean install, no cabs of any kind (other then provisioning). I have had at least 6 freeze and involuntary hard resets. I have done every combination of clearing memory and flashing I can find.
I am back on 2/10 for now, bummer...

What processes are safe to kill in advanced task manager?? My memory is at 70% and advanced task manager shows a lot of running processes but I dont know what is safe to kill. Anyone savvy with this program that could give some suggestions??:scratch:

If you don't have the program Htcaddicts clear ram I suggest you get it. this will safely close programs and clear your ram for you giving your phone a nice boost without having to soft reset.
I attached the .cab below. You can install this on your storage card.

I still sit around 70% also, drives me crazy but still snappy. Just trying to tell myself i have alot of crap loaded and its normal.
