I was just wondering why people are experiencing some of the issues that they are with SOD, MMS and so on. I have yet to experience any of the mentioned issues running MR 3-23.

I don't do much modifications to the rom other than cookies 1.6 tab.
Here is a list of what I have installed and mybe we can get an idea of what might be causing all those issues with some of the people here.

I don't mess with Advance config, I don't modify the Registry unless I'm going to change the location of where Arcsoft stores pictures, or set a higher limit of sending MMS

My unlocker is R3
I flashed to stock, Hard reset for good measures, then flashed MR and installed everything with SASHIMI.

I sit around 66 to 70% on a fresh reboot. I think Sense 2.5 takes much of the memory.

Anyone else having a problem with the soft keys appearing on top of the slider? Every so often Ill go to read a text and the "phone" and "menu" options will be on top of my slider and I cant just tap my message tab to open them. I have to slide the phone open and closed to put it back to the way it should be

Thanks bro. I already have this cab and use it very often. I also use a cab called clear temp which cleans out temporary files and internet caches. I start off on a fresh boot at 57%. Then throughout the day it goes up. 70% has been the highest so far. Just trying to bring it down some.

Oh man I agree with this 100% I have so many apps on this thing. I tweak it beyond believe. It runs super fast(er) than a fresh flash. I tweak my internet settings....(EVERYTHING) And my phone has been running like a champ! It doesnt even slow down. I just randomly check my memory out of curiosity and notice it being high and want to bring it back down. I have so many cabs installed its not funny. I really abuse this ROM and it still holds up. I dont think Ill be flashing anytime soon. Unless Mike comes out with a newer version. I have not had any SOD or anything no MMS issues so I too wonder what some of you are doing to create these issues.

I went down to like 61% from 70%. My phone was a little choppy tho so I soft reset and all was back to normal. Anyone have anything else that would help?? Im all ears.

Damn!! When I start off on a fresh boot its at 56-57% Its at 46-47% without Sense loaded. But I need my sense UI. I cant stand to look at titanium or any other UI other than sense...maybe SPB but other than that...I need my sense. Hey Youngpro, this is the new Sprint Nav from the TP2. IMO, much better than the one your running, which I had up until last week. Auto rotates to landscape with the phone closed.

If you disable windows live only, will myphone still work?

Quick question. How do you guys remove programs that cant be removed from the remove apps list? I tried to uninstall something and it says that it cant be uninstalled and do I want to remove it from the list? I say yes and its still there. I tried to install and and then uninstall it but that didnt work. Any suggestions?

Anyone else having problems with this rom, I installed it and now whenever i soft reset the phone or remove the battery the phone asks me to provision for the carrier again and all of my installed apps and contacts are deleted. This would be a great feature if I was a paranoid schizo and thought sprint was keeping track of me.... jk. But seriously I have reinstalled the rom three times now from two different systems and continue to have the issue. I will be flashing back to the stock sprint rom to see if the issue persists if it does I will be relocking my phone and getting it replaced.

Anyone want to add some color to the Mighty ROM startup animation?

Downsized for display purposes and set to animate continously, the file you put on the phone will animate once and then go to your welcomehead.192 image...

There are 2 ways of doing this:

1. Copy the file from the attached zip file to your Windows directory and edit the following registry key:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\HTCAnimation\StartupGif
value: \Windows\mightyanimation.gif

2. Back up the file "MightyROM.gif" in your Windows directory and rename the file from the attached zip file to MightyROM.gif and copy it to your Windows directory.

So no one else is having problems with this rom being a piece of crap. I have been using builds of mighty rom for over a year now and have never had problems like this. I just flashed back to the stock sprint rom and my phone is running great. Question : why is mighty mike no longer leaving links for the older versions of mightyrom on mightyrom . c o m? This does not make any sense other than bandwidth issues. if anyone has a link to the previous mighty rom version I would really appreciate it.

Works great for me. I think your a piece of CRAP for blasting a perfect working ROM. I would look more at yourself and your process or lack there of, on how you went about your Flashing.

For those that are asking what Keep My Tones program does. its an application that once you get all the ringtones to your contacts and you have all your ringtones set up for notifications you can create a copy as an .XML Drop it into sashimi XML and your ringtones will go back to your contacts and settings.

here is the cab for it.

if it executes .XML it should. I don't use XDA_UC because sashimi does everything I need so I could not verify if it does or not. But my guess it does.

Wow, slow down before you start calling the ROM a piece of crap. Firstly since you claim you've been using builds of Mighty's roms, I would assume you followed protocol and flashed to the new SPRINT STOCK first before flashing the latest Mighty ROM. That would give you the newest Sprint Radio. Secondly, I would guess that you read what others posted and noticed that upon first boot, this ROM puts up the PROVISION notice. If you read what others wrote, they said to by pass that and clear storage, reboot and guess what the PROVISION notice pops up again, then run the proper provision carrier. I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt and think that you followed those steps. It could have been a bad flash, that does happen sometimes, have you tried to reflash the ROM? Several posters have claimed to have minor issues and reflashed the ROM and it was fixed. I'm not going to call you an idiot or anything, but I would suggest if you're convinced this ROM isn't for you then flash back to stock and the bloatware and be content. There's no need to announce something is crap because it doesn't work for you. That was seriously RUDE!:disgust:

Sorry if its been asked but did Might leave the USB to PC 'disk drive' connection out of the 3-23 release?

You have a point. Too bad because those of us that save the older roms would have probably helped the guy. Sometimes biting your tongue pays dividends, don't you think? Not a good thing to piss off The Might One!

This is normal behavior from people. Its never our own fault. We always try to blame someone else for our downfalls.
