does anyone else's phone sometimes forget that it has to turn off after X amount of minutes when plugged in?

i set it to turn the screen off after 2 mins when charging but it sometimes likes to stay on. there are no apps running in the background either

Alright, since I'm too lazy to read through 30 pages of posts and do a massive multi-quote, anyone that didn't auto-provision, I need you to export a key for me, HKLM\System\State\Phone\Current Operator Name. Just PM me the actual key from the export. If it's blank, don't worry about PMing me, try this instead, try ##RTN, it should reset the NVM on the phone, which should fix that key. Thank X for that one.

If I find any that are different than what I'm currently looking for, I'll add them and forward the a new revision onto Mike.

Ok, I finally broke something but don't know how I did it. Was sending an MMS (US Cellular using Arksoft), and it got stuck. The voicemail icon started switching back and forth between the MMS uploading icon and the VM icon. Tried to clear the notification and it wouldn't clear. Took a soft reset to fix.

How do you export the key? I followed the path and it just said Verizon Wireless. Is there something else to look for, or way to export the info you need?

Yea at first it was hard for me to adjust to the no X....but now I am getting used to it......I have it loaded up Mike and it is handling it all....had at least 4 to 5 programs open at once usually....cookie installed and all my many apps also..... going to give it a full beat down today......memory management has been great

been running the official beta since yesterday - other than me making manila crash with a mod the phone didnt like, haven't had any issues! GWES hanging around the mid 20s for the most part (did get to the low 40s but had a shitload of apps running, but went back down when they were closed)... Mike you out did yourself with this one! cant wait to try the FF - that rom is sexy - i need to get me some of that 6.5.x! :D

Just checked this Poll today. Mighty War is beating the nearest competitor (MR. X 6.5/2.5) 90-78. If you add up all of Mike's ROM's against the competition it's 199-100 in favor of Mike.

Just curious, when your saying Mid 20s and low 40's, are you referring to 20 and 40kb, or 20,000kb and 40,000kb?

Well I ran into a issue this morning, I am running the official beta that was sent out yesterday. everything seemed great and worked good all day. plugged it up to the USB that hooked up to my computer to charge it nothing out of the norm. when I got up this morning and went to check it the screen was stuck, it had the *777 error popped up and looked like Sense had stopped working. it had the launch sense screen behind the error. the screen would not respond and nether would the buttons.

So I popped off the battery and put it back in. turned it on and it would not get passed the first boot screen with the red info at the bottom. let it sit like that for 5 minutes and still nothing. did that one more time and still nothing. I had to manually enter the bootloader and reflashing right now.

I had a Google sync account setup. these are all cabs that I have been using with no issues at all with the 3/23 release and my own cooked ROM. this is the first time that I have had my touch pro 2 not respond at all and had to manually enter bootloader to get it going.

btw when I checked the gwes.exe before I went to bed it was sitting right around 24,000KB.

20,000 kb and 40,000 kb! :) I installed a few more mods/tweaks, and right now it's at 32,747 kb

edit: after closing out a couple apps i forgot was running, went back down to 23223 kb. awesome!

So for the first morning in a long time, I didn't wake up to the #777 error! Yeah! It was beautiful being able to read my email without restarting my phone.

I installed a few more manila mods last night and gwes went from 17000ish to 23622. Pretty darn good!

So far, for me, this phone has preformed flawlessly (other than a little operator error) except when I installed a couple of non compatible (wrong manila version) mods!

Lovin it! Bring on FULL FORCE!!

i recently tried out energy's rom and it was ok. i didnt like all the customizations he had built in (not my taste) but i did like the extra tabs he had cooked in like facebook, document indexer, etc. Is there a reason why we dont see the extra tabs in Mighty's Rom? Or is that something we'll see in future development? I found a thread to add the facebook tab but it looks confusing and not sure about how to add the other tabs after flashing Mighty's

update info:

i've found out that the lock programs of the OS itself eats around 9kb of GWES.

the battery life IS REALLY AWESOME, i can say, am still 38% now while i've been doin some wifi internet connection, opera,facebook, playing UNO 2 and checking mails, tweeter since yesterday. WOOTT!!!

You can add those by yourself, some are as easy as adding a cab, while some are not. The thing is, some of those tabs use extra memory / battery usage even when you are not using them. I remember the Doc tab on NRGz used to cause loads of battery drain.. The extra tabs he has in are the Facebook and Call History ones, which are both made by individual people so you can search here or XDA for it and add em! hehehe, what i meant was the LOCK program itself, my start-up GWES was 15+++kb, then, when i try to lock my pda and unlock again, check the GWES, it boost up to 24+++kb added some 9+kb. hehehe, try it dude, this kinda weird coz i thought at first is the program lockdevice and add-on dusk slider was the culprit, but within deeper test, i discovered that it was the lock program of the WINMO. can someone confirm this or it just me : ).

Since gwes is the cache for graphics, that's about right. Haven't really looked that closely at mine, but with co0kies HT and a few other things, I sit right around 25MB, and once I got to 26MB, but never more than that.

Yes, I have the betas. Manila and mode9 are not CFC compressed, however, you should be able to use the patched cab I have in post 6. I think it's kinda silly to install all the compressed *manila files from the other cab, since you'll end up taking up more space then leaving them uncompressed, since they're already cooked in, and replacing them will be almost double the amount of storage.

You can save some memory using CFC, it's best if it's cooked that way. Some have even reported slightly faster response with the *manila files compressed, less for the phone to load. I'm not sure how much speed, if any, I just remember reading that in Chain's XDA post.
