Keep clicking Update Now...I have had the issue where it either showed My Location or another city near me...I continuously hit Update Now about 5 times and it worked from that point on...

since using the camera and album a good bit today, Im up over 68% now. it wont go down either. previous to this I was always hovering around 58-62% memory. I do have cookie installed so that's probably the culprit. doesnt matter to be honest, still quite fast.

2) This will give you an idea on what button press reveals what feature. Once again, still the only ROM out there will fully featured HTC Task Manager support. Please Note, CLOSE ON X is still no supported as this is an actual 6.5.X issue. Closing will "Minimize" your applications.

I've been doing my best to punish the ROM in the link that you sent me yesterday evening.

I usually setup both Hotmail and Exchange Server accounts to sync as items arrive and then start sending messages back and forth between those two accounts.

While all of this is going on, I will pop in and out of both Google Maps and Mircorost Bing (map section) while I walk around the house.

And in the midst of all of this, I setup the RSS program to sync with a several "deals" web sites that have both a ton of traffic and support > 250 feeds.

And to top it off, I went out to youtube to play some VeggieTales videos for my boys ... as simultaneous as possible.

All of this going on via my WiFi connection ... back and forth between WiFi and 3G connection, with my bluetooth headset connected and on to announce e-mails.

So, this all went very well ... so much so that I decided to do something I usually don't mess with ... while all of this is going on and when I had switched to WiFi, I called myself from my home phone to see if I could do stuff via WiFi and talk via 1x.

I'm not going to lie, there were times when I thought the phone was going to melt, but it never did lock-up and I didn't have to soft-reset. After I was done with the torture test, it settled down and pretty much returned to normal behavior.

right, so I thought id show how bad my mspaint skillz (you cant really call them that...) are...

and show what I would love to see/have...

*as a disclaimer, it wouldn't look like this if done right... but again, this is the limit of my MSPaint ability's... (cant call it that either...), also the repeating icons are just like that because thats all I had to work with... i dont literally want multiple home icons... either a 4x4, 4x5 or 5x5 would suffice... i just cant stand this zig-zag crap

Not sure if I'm just smoking something... but, one "hint" that I could see (or, not see), is.. where is the START Menu in Full Force?

The taskbard is like 6.5.x, with the clock and no start menu,
and the bottom bar is sized like 6.5.x, but, the usual "windows" start button is no where.

Is this a sign that there's no point to have a Start Menu since you have the hardware button to go there? and if so, where's the X going to be to close out programs...

again, I may be missing something, either way, it's very curious.

Hey guys, quick question I am not sure if anyone has seen this happen before. I have looked through tons of pages and didn't seen anything about it.

What happens with me is that when I hit reply on a text message through sense and I type it out and hit send sometimes after I hit send I am automatically taken right into the message inbox without me wanting it to instead going right back to sense after sending message. Is there anyway to stop that from happening or has anyone even seen this or had this happen to them?

Check if your data connection turns on when you press the update. For me it didn't, after messing around with the data settings I got it to work

I am usually good at breaking stuff...but this one seem really solid and very fast. I have everything I normally use and it does not slow down at all. Even the provisioning worked perfect. Well back to testing....

BTW, I really like the 6.5.X roms but all the ones I have seen so far have the issue of some programs of not showing all the items in the bottom menu buttons. I use Memmaid and you can't even get to the registration or the sched. areas. I hope Mikes new rom fixes that.

Start button is your hardware key, upper left hand corner is the Task Manager its just "invisible" because the clock is there in 6.5.x

Task Manager and clock are in the upper right hand corner. I think mike was saying there will be an "invisible" start menu activation spot in the upper left corner. But as usual, the Hardware button will always work.
