Which FN keys are you trying to map?

I saw on youtube, so guy used a keyboard/hard button mapping application that allow him to map using different triggers, such as single-tap, double-tap, triple-tap, and long hold to associate with each application. I just wanted to keep all my default hard button settings and used the double-tap to add lock, Roscoe Explorer, and program shortcuts.

Don't know what to tell you. I have never had a reset because of keyboard sliding. And I don't use ATT, so have no idea about it. Are you overclocking?

Does anyone know how to remap TP2 buttons and keyboard buttons? I found RhodiumKbdControl_CDMA.CAB, and instructions tell me to first install SDKCert.CAB and then RhodiumKbdControl_CDMA.CAB. Restart device, then go to settings and look for keyboard configuration icon, but I cannot find any icon.
Is there something special I need to do on this ROM to have the app visible? I also navigated to the program files folder to try and manually execute the application, but no folders or files found.
Please help.

OK. Here's a general rule with regards to accessing various phone settings. SPB Mobile Shell has some issue with reading some of the settings links. So, they won't show up when you try to access them from SPB Mobile Shell's menu. However, XTask does not have this issue. Use XTask and click on the "Control" tab to access ALL settings. This will be last time I will directly address "can't find item "X" in settings" type of concerns, unless you specifically tell me that some setting is not showing up even on XTask .

Edit2:
Just figured it out. I took Lumos out of the startup menu. Problem solved.

I am having the same problem. I'm on Sprint V2 and I can't find 'Lumos.' Thanks in advance.

Edit.. I need help finding where to take out Lumos from the start up programs. I got a minor error upon boot this morning after just removing the folder from Program Files. I'm searching around in Registry Editor and I can't find it :(

Its not in registry. Using Resco Explorer (or its equivalent - I don't know if you can use FileExplorer for this) go to \Windows\Startup. Now delete the Lumos.lnk that you find here.

FIX for INPUT settings:

If you need to see "Input" in Settings, do this:

Using your favorite registry editor, go to:
Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]

Here, you will find a key called "Redirect" value"

Delete this key. Reset.

really thanx tho. my bad if i sounded like a prick, everyone interpets things different and people r pushy/snotty whn someone like u or any other chef is tryn to make our experience better. and it was jus that one feature that would have been a deal breaker cuz i promote events. thats for helpin. ive tried alot of roms and i like each one for different things but ur really stands out cuz of speed and multi taskin i can do. its crazy i always have 111mb, i can muilti task like 6 apps and it never drops down passed 85mb available and can switch to txt instantly and i can txt with no wait or lag. waitin for my typing to pop up 3-4 sec after its been pressed was very annoyin. all apps work correctly! man i love it bro no homo lol. if anyone wants to kno im with sprint, page pool 8, apps: FIM,fusion visual voice mail, clean ram, tcmp, omarket, sms cloud,oc apps but havent used them yet, like 8-10 different battery saver things, ect. ill post it l8r if anyone cares but jus want to give my input on an amazing rom.

Hey man loving the ROM definitely would like to see maybe some HTC Apps cooked in like youtube and the latest album with facebook integration, also microsoft myphone would definitely be a nice addition. Just recently flashed so ill let you know if I find anything else missing

Hey Mav,
Yes what killer said, youtube and album cooked in would be great. Can you give a hint as to when v3 might hit? -'cause I was just about to flash and set up v2. I have been using v1 for the built-in OC but it just won't stay on so I was gonna go to v2, but if v3 is coming soon I might wait for it.

Also, did you cook in CF3.5? I figure you did, but I am one of the people who cannot get the FB widget to connect no matter what I try, and some people have said that updating the framework would fix it.

Won't stick after a soft reset though....

This is definitely one of the best ROMS out there, I got the phone the first week it came out. I was real happy with 6.1 and my tweak cabs, virtually no problems and ran very fast. I only started flashing because I assumed I could get a 6.1 ROM all ready cooked like the way I had it tweaked with cabs.

That really never happened and I just started trying ROMS and some have worked great for a while and then they petered out.

Then I realized that my 6700 ran problem free for a long time on a DCD ROM that was just a modified home screen, until I decided to flash a manila ROM. Ever since then I have nothing but problems with manila.

What I would love to see is just more refinement to make this ROM even better, I think I'm in for the long haul with this phone until they release a suitable replacement for it, so I need to get something reliable sorted out before everyone moves onto "giant screen android" phones.

Personally I'd like to see:

*1. Icons showing up in SPB Menu, I normally wouldn't care but this stops me from using quick links and "advanced mode favorites and recent" because things just show up as a transparent white windows with blue top bars.

For my Skyfire's Icon and the repacked OCT v1.5, which ninjaduck made icons for, are the biggest one's for me that I would love to see working. Here is the ninjaduck repack with icons.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...-shortcut.html

*2. I'd like to be able to keep Swype as a default input method if I want to, maybe not all the time, but at least when I set it.

*3. Is there a way to make a "favorite contacts" shortcut that I can put on my home screen? The shortcut in the program folders goes to "all contacts". Even better would be a widget to the "contacts carousel", but favorites would be the priority.

*4. Not a big deal, (or if it it's possible) but It would be great if I could click on the battery widget and it opened an actual battery monitoring program link in maxsense, I'm constantly checking my current draw to maximize battery life. But I think that without manila it never really draws enough current to sap the battery quickly, so I probably won't be doing that as much. So not a big deal, I do have the program shortcut widget on my desktop. It would be super cool to have a current drain monitor on the home screen, not sure how much juice that would use though? 30mah?

----------------------------------
These are tweaks I do to any ROM, you may or may not want to incorporate into yours, if it's even possible. Not a huge deal, only takes me a few minutes to adjust these settings.

*1. I delete the notification that turns on activesync all the time. This doesn't stop it from working, just not running all the time until you plug in. Taskmanager works a lot faster because it doesn't have to close activesync every time you hit "Close All"

It's "repllog.exe" in notifications if anyone is interested, there are three of them, you only want to delete the one that has the description of "AppRunAfterTimeChange" or something like that.\

*2. Change network from "Global" to "CDMA", no point wasting battery and resource searching for a GSM signal I'm not using.

That's all I can think of at the moment, awesome ROM other wise, thanks for the hard work! :bigsmurf:

This rom, for me, makes my phone feel new again. It may just be mobile shell vs manila but its awesome. Thank you. I may just be able to make it till the end of my contract now. Love the start bar, its so clean and the phone is now responsive immediately.

As for a v.3; I want to be able to make my icons bigger. I use the icon changer and when I tap to change the icon skin, there is no option to use a bigger icon. The icons are high quality and I'd like to see them. I would also like to see the weather widget use the gps like, that may be a pipe dream but you have not because you ask not.

Again, these are small issues...the rom is a blessing. Thank you.

Huh? Why not? Mine is sticking fine after a soft reset. You can use NueSipDefault to change your default input method whenever you want. I believe there's also a regedit you can use to change this.

Most of this stuff is SPB Shell related, or icon management related.
The SIP changing question I've addressed above.
To change/add icons, there are several good icon managers out there that will do the trick. They can be found on XDA.
There's a nice thread on XDA that tells you how to set up shortcuts to any panel in SPB Shell.
Can't do much about the battery widget. That's totally up to SPB. Write to SPB and see what they say

In SPB Shell, you can change the size of the icons displayed, by changing widget options. The weather widget is built by SPB - not much I can do with that

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

seems like most of the small details have to do with mobile shell. I wasn't able to find out how to make the icons bigger. I'm sure its something silly I'm missing. there is no widget options I'm aware of. I tap and hold on the widget to change the skin. In the last version of mobile shell I had, there was a skin option that allowed you to make it bigger.

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

Does anyone have a sprint prl and profile update cab that works in this rom. I've used 2 and none of them show up in the system settings menu. There are also some shortcuts in the system settings menu that do nothing like managed programs, car kit mode, task manager, uploader, and spb phone suite. Aside from that i'm really amazed at the speed and battery life on this rom.

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

Hi, this ROM is great. I've tried mightyROM, energyROM, Maxsense, MediumHill, Mr.X and now I like ur more than others. I think "I design ROMs to have the best compromise between speed, usability, eye candy and stability" is quite true for me. my favorite taskbar (Dark Ninja Desire) is cooked in the Rom so I don't have to install it anymore. But Why no battery percentage? Anyway to make percentage visible? And I love ur Bluetooth icon, what a nice touch.
But I have some issues:
1. How to disable auto rotate on resco Explorer (and other apps)?
2. How to get the start icon at the bottom left and associate it with SPB Programs instead of windows start menu?
3. The tabs at Call History (incoming, outgoing, missed) is not seen (bug??) but function well
4. At one time my baby played games on my Rhodium. I see the available memory left is just 35 mb although I've closed all using Xtask. What happened? I have to soft reset to get 90 mb back.

Yeah I figured most of the stuff was on the shell side, but I have to say I'm a complete noob to shell and probably should've started using it earlier. Wasn't quite surewhat you could do about it, so I just threw it out there.

The only "major" problem I have is that at some point, the "windows" button wouldn't pull up the menu. All the other buttons worked, except that one, soft reset wouldn't fix it either. I think I did by deleting stuff, who knows...

You can change the settings so that when you click on the wide bar at the bottom of the home screen it opens the spb menu. If you have it set to "favorite and recently used" you simply swipe to the side while in that screen.

To change the setting, on the home screen click on the "^" and click "Settings". Then click on ""Launcher" button opens".

I personally deleted the calender/tasks widget from the home screen and it leaves me enough space for the battery widget (the top taskbar battery is not accurate) and 12 program shortcuts of the programs I use most in a staggered pattern.

You can also swipe left and right from the home screen and you have extra pages for more program shortcuts.

Download the file to your computer.

Extract it with a .rar program like winrar.

Open the extracted file.

In the file is a program called "ROMUpdateUtility.exe", double click it/open it.

Follow the instructions.

Hit computer with bat.

Oh wait, that's not right.

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

Go here: Olipro->Creations(&Unlockers); - RhodiumW Hard-SPL

There will be a link to this as well as some directions: http://hpcmonex.net/htc/rhodw/Rhodiu...R3_100HSPL.zip

Basically all you have to do is connect to your phone, use that program to unlock it. Then you can use any of these roms using the RUU (Rom Update Utility). If you ever have to take it back to the store then you install the stock ROM (Sprint, Verizon, Telus, etc.) and RELOCK the phone using a RELOCKER.

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

I installed the SPRINT version of this ROM, and I already had SPB Mobile Shell from earlier and used the same code to register it, however, what are the stock programs that comes with this? Will Google Maps automatically work? What other programs, I am used to most Roms coming with Youtube, GoogleMaps, Wifi Router, Msft Myphone, etc. already being installed on them... This has a about 7 icons that are just windows icons meaning the links/shortcuts are non existent... why?

EDIT: Nevermind, just a little more tooling around and I found it, but Youtube and Msft Myphone are not pre-installed right? So far this seems like a great ROM, great job. For those of you thinking about SPB you can find codes online or maybe buy them off ebay. I do not endorse any type of illegal activity or pirating etc.

Re: *Blazing Fast & Stable* Maverick MobileShell ROM *SYS 23135* UPDATED!

First let me say - great ROM. The only problem I have that is frustrating, and hopefully something I can correct, is that I have data service and all after loading DCD USCC cab but at some point it quits working and can no longer update weather or access the internet. The only way I can get data service back is by doing a soft reset. Is there a solution for this problem? Or am I the only one with this problem?

edit - after messing around, I find out that I can regain my data connection by turning the phone off in the wireless manager for just a few seconds and then turning it back on. A small price to pay for a great rom but if anyone has a solution, please let me know.

I'm sure that you are having problems with the facebook app that came with the phone, I don't know what version you have but I don't have a Facebook cooked in.
