Hey,
I switched from Formula's SPB since he has been inactive for a while and i have found this ROM to be faster. He has alot of things that i dont use or dont really work. This is a great ROM; i have been taunted with the Black Screen of Death. So far this ROM is doing well no BSOD for me and its quite fast. I would like to suggest some things however.

1. Swype (i love it cant use a touch screen without it imho)
2. Facebook connectivity (from when you take a picture, attach info from facebook to contacts)
3. Youtube App
4. Auto complete when creating a new text mesage from contacts
5. Bing (i think this app rocks for gps and info)
6. Use 3d Mail viewer as default
7. Remove Text Sent Notification (omg i hate this)
8. Weather Bug App (elite version - i cant seem to find the cab i must have lost it)

Those are the only things i can think of right now, its great otherwise. I was able to install swype, bing, text notification sent removal.cab and youtube so technically 3 are just tedious installs. Adding Facebook connectivity to picture uploads and contacts would be nice and id love to use the 3d mail over the basic mail program.

I think I posted in the history of this thread somewhere about how to get autocomplete to work.

Can you let me know.. are you using the stock youtube application or an addon?
The stock one played video in amazing quality, every other one I have tried to install doesn't look so good.

I was playing this video youtube.. "rise and fall trailer" Rise and Fall Online
It should play super sharp. My HTC used to look way better than the iphone video, now it is on par.. not so good, muddy.

yeah they quality sux, i was using the one from Formulas, i couldnt find that app it plays it really well, this one is from youtube itself, i like the features but the quality sux...

sound in youtube app i had for long time just stopped playing if in high quality, switch to fast download - and it works but video is horrible. I installed the app from the link above - same exact problem. Anyone?

just do what i do when something doesnt seem to work right after a while, reflash...especially if you use sbp backup you can restore your orignial settings pretty easily

Just flashed this last night. So far, so good. It's really quick. So long as there are no lockups or long freezes, it'll be a winner for me.

only thing would possibly add SPB droid 3.0 theme, sms bubble tweak. but great rom even if someone wanted to install and remove SPB and add thier own home screen. but i like SPB. :headbang: as well SPB back up

I know Maverick hasn't been on in a while so I'm honestly trying to help those on SPB.

cannot get internet to work. My phone is was using spring but I switched to t-mobile. I was using Vin's Plutonium ROM and it worked fine. I'm fully unlocked. Any help?

I've been running SPB mobile shell for 1 week now. I don't know why I didn't use this sooner. I was about to upgrade to another phone but the speed is wonderful. It's worth the $. I see myself using this for a while longer before I'm temped to upgrade.

I also have the same question. Is there tethering capabilities built into this ROM? So far I love the speed and if I could figure out tethering, this one seems to be a keeper.

Had this installed for a couple of days, and it seems like it shows a lot of promise. I'd be fine paying SBP $30 for the interface IF ONLY I could download Facebook friend pictures to contacts, but that doesn't work for me.

I'm not having the problem many people have reported where they get an error message when they try and log into facebook. When I try and get pictures, it logs in fine, but then nothing happens. If I try and get pictures again it asks me to log in again. I've tried clearing cache on Mobile IE and then connecting there. That makes no difference. Any idea if there is a workaround or is this just broken? If so, Its back to Sense UI for me, and probably I'll see if I can keep XDAndroid running all the time, because WinMo with Sense just is kind of a bear.

i have been using the last release with no problems, BUT, i installed the latest SPB shell over the 1 that this rom comes with.
** Then (this is important) I uninstall my copy of SPB shell that i just installed, and when it boots back into the rom, there is NO trace of any SPB shell anymore at all.
** Then i setup my gmail and install Arcsoft (im on cricket with a flashed sprint tp2) you can probably skip the Arcsoft part]
** Then i install my SPB shell again and presto its running smooth and fast and lots of free ram available.

#@#@ reason for the uninstall of my SPB shell the 1st time is because the two SPB shell (the 1 that comes with the rom and the 1 i installed) conflict and dont display everything properly.
So basically this process wipes both SPB shell and allows for a fresh excellent working installation of an upgraded SPB shell install.

sorry if this is not clear , i didnt mean to go on about this , but i just had to share my success with this rom after having some of the issues other user had.

I thought this rom came with 3.5.5... what version did you install?

I switched over to Energy with Sencity - it has alll the facebook apps integrated and i have been quite happy with this interface. SPB is awesome, and very stable on this ROM, just wanted a little more integrated features.

i love this rom. i jump around alot looking for cool roms and always come back to this one. the ONLY complaint i have is i cannot get wmarketplace to work. i have tried a couple, i dont remember which ones, and have had no luck. this problem has forced me to switch to other roms before but regardless if i get it to work or not i will still be sporting maverick.

please tell me how to fix wmarketplace
i also use omarket.. are thers any others besides these 2?

I agree, this is a nice rom. I thought that microsoft shut down the marketplace since wm7 was out.

Only the online marketplace was shut down, not the app. No new app submissions either.

I too wish mav was still around but honestly how much better can this build get? everything is absolutely perfect i have been on this build for about 6 months this in between my android ventures and this is by far the most solid winmo experience i have ever had with any ROM out there. I never did say thanks for this build mav so what better time than now! Thanks for making me not want to throw my phone through a wall!

how do i get usb to pc to work? i plug phone into computer and it only charges it. when i go to usb to pc in phone and select activesync or diskdrive computer still doesnt read it.. im not sure if this is a pc problem or rom problem but i think it is the rom. i love this rom btw im not hating im just trying to get some stuff from my sd card on pc without hunting down a micro sd adapter. thanks in advance

My only issue with this rom, and the reason I am changing to a different one, is that the Bluetooth does not work 100% where it should be. I have a pair of bluetooth headphones that the rom does not pick up any button except the talk/end button (so no play/pause, Skip Forward or Skip Backward) being as I run and do other activities while listening to music I can't be pulling the phone out each time I want to skip a song or pause or what-not
