and I dont know bout ya but I personally loveddddd the built in O.C...i had no problems and with this new version sucks to me becasue I have to keep SLIDING to the # I want...and if I go to high then bang ..frozen

I am having the same issue. Like the rom Deff Fast Deff Stable. One question though. When I create a new TXT from scratch and I type the name of the person I want to send it to the list doesn't pop up I have to actually hit the TO: Button. Anything we can do about this? Does anyone else see this problem?

I really like the speed of this ROM without the overclocking.. I'm using your v2 now. You fixed the problems I mention in v1. You forgot to include the owner icon in the settings. For some reason I can't get any of Resco products registration information to stick.. Right now I'm loving this Rom, feels light and fast.

Arcsoft is built into the ROM. You shouldn't need to reinstall it. I can send MMS messages with pictures, but haven't tried video messages (or including audio). Is anyone else having issues with these features? I'll test this out and see what happens.


Going to take a small break and enjoy this ROM before trying for v3 :grin:
I have noticed that some of the SPB widget options are messed up, and I am going to look into it for v3. Its a problem with the SPB EXT package that I'm using, and I'll be trying to fix it in v3.
My OC sticks fine. Try this:
1. From the OC GUI, turn OC off.
2. Set the OC to whatever speed you want.
3. Click on "Set".
4. Turn on OC. Then turn it off.
5. Turn OC on again.
6. Make a shortcut to the "OC_Run.exe" file and put the shortcut in \Windows\Startup.
7. You should have permanent OC now.


I think SPB Shell has a problem with Facebook integration that they might not have fixed. I will look into this for v3.


You are correct about needing to click on the "To" button. I have no idea at all about how to fix this.


I think there's a minor issue with the SPB Shell EXT package. That's why you cannot see the owner icon in "Settings." However, I assure you that its there. To access it, call up XTask and click on the "Control" tab (which is actually the phone settings). Here, under the "Personal" folder, you should see Owner information settings.

hey pavanmaverick, I'm on vzw version and i can't receive mms. i can send, them, but i always get the "message unavailable or expired" message when trying to download mms.

Hey maverick. I cant send MMS or recieve with the Sprint version. I have no errors, it just sits in my outbox and never sends or downloads the message :(

ok maverick.... for some reason I personally noticed...(not just yours) but lets say Im happy with the rom...and after a week's use.....all of the sudden on some day..the thing will just completly HARD RESET its self....I mean last time it did it...i was just Scrolling through the home screen and then .. *vibrates* ...HTC TOUCH PRO 2...its like wth just happend...and i dont feel like re setting all the settings the way i like it. any way just waiting for v3 buddy...

Never noticed this before. But you are right. My guess is that there are no input setting to change, so the panel never got created.



Haha. Thanks for the kind words. Glad you are enjoying the ROM. I have no idea why it hard reset itself. Just too many variables to contend with. Personally, I recommend a soft reset every night to keep things running nicely. I also use SPB backup to run every night so I can get everything back in the event of such a catastrophe. Can't say as I've ever had the phone randomly hard reset itself on me after running fine. Then again, its been a while since I've had the same ROM on the phone for a while :grin:

Even though my setup is running great this rom looks real attractive to me and I'm warming to the idea of giving it a go. I have been using lean titanium-only roms and running SPB Mobile Shell. My question is were you able to cook this without even including titanium? If so that would make it even more attractive to me, like superlean haha. Either way though thanks for doing this, and either way I'll likely try it out soon. All the best :^}

Well if you over clock your phone your battery life will go down because it will be working harder. The only way you could get better battery life would be to under clock your phone but that would make it slower and I dont think you want to go slower. So I would say if you want to get the best performance and battery life to not over clock.

There's a whole thread about settings to use. Basically, set your Load Max and Jump Max to higher numbers - that will ensure that your CPU runs slower when its not being heavily used. The problem with this setup is that some applications (notably music players - I suspect GPS apps will have the same problem) that work in the background while the screen is off will result in SODs. That's why I have mine OC'ed permanently.


As far as I know, Fingerkeyboard does not do T9. Please check the Fingerkeyboard thread for a better answer and workarounds.

thanx for ur work, i like it alota. one question...is there a cab to make the contacts come up while in txt message when i type there name vs. having to press add recipient? it takes took long. other than that im enjoying the ram and speed very much. my fone feels like a phone again thanx

So for some reason last night I had to reinstall Rom and now when I plug in my head phones it routes the music to the phones internal speaker. Unable to get any sound thru head phones. It sees that they're plugged in tho. Any thoughts?

Hey Gang, does anyone else have an 'End Key" Error? I press and get and error and no shutoff. have to remove battery to turn off. if anyone has a fix can you IM me or message me? Thanks guys in advance, have a great week!

If you have Sprint and a ROM with Sprint carrier settings, then you just go to start-settings-system and click the update prl icon.

can someone plz help me with the to: part of my textin? it wont read my contacts whn i type the names in. pain in the ass cuz i send out message to multiple texts to people at once. is no one else havin this problem? ive seen a fix for this b4 for another rom whn this happened but can remember the rom or name of the fix to find it. im diggin this rom but need this feature workin...............

Maverick, first I'd like to say thank you for making the best ROM that I've tried on my TP2. It (and Formula's) have convinced me that MobileShell is what HTC should have been using on these phones by default. I have not overclocked my phone at all, and it outperforms every SenseUI/CHT ROM that I have personally used.

I had an issue with receiving MMS, but I resolved that with a combination of a cab and connection settings. My only lingering issue seems to be the ; and :. I have a Verizon keyboard cab that I found when first experimenting with EnergyROM, and I installed it since I originally couldn't use most of my FN assignments with your ROM (as it has been with many others), but the ; and : continue to display the \ and / that is supposed to be above them. Oddly enough, the regular \ and / FN keys work fine.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to remap TP2 buttons and keyboard buttons? I found RhodiumKbdControl_CDMA.CAB, and instructions tell me to first install SDKCert.CAB and then RhodiumKbdControl_CDMA.CAB. Restart device, then go to settings and look for keyboard configuration icon, but I cannot find any icon.

Is there something special I need to do on this ROM to have the app visible? I also navigated to the program files folder to try and manually execute the application, but no folders or files found.

Nothing in my program folder. Is there some other folder I can check? Do I have to install the CAB on my SD? I typically install all my CAB on my device.

Loving the speed of this. but have 2 problems that I've never had. 1 is pretty regular sliding the. Keyboard shuts off the phone. 2 switching to gsm. Used to auto configure at&t connection settings. But. Not with this. Already hard reset and task 29. BTW. I love the espresso theme

I ended up installing it trying to resolve the same thing. It doesn't put the program where it's supposed to, and instead installs it in the Windows directory. Find it in there, you're looking for kbdconfig.exe

Which FN keys are you trying to map?
