The thing is I thought I solved it but I fixed it in just by accident.

See I have to cables behind my desk one usb that connects to my computer and one that is conected to the wall outlet.

The jack that connects to the computer and to our phones via usb DOESN"T CHARGE THE PHONE. The phone does say its charging but the battery drains non-the-less.

I just so happen to be using the usb cable when I thought I was using the outlet cable to charge the phone.

When I used the cable that connects to the wall outlet the phone stays off and charges. However when I try to connect it to the via the computer usb. IT doesn't charge. Tried again at work with a different cable and IT DOESN'T CHARGE.

Connected it back again to the wall outlet and it charges.

I did a reflash and Its on two different roms. My past phone was on 4.0 this phone is on 4.1.5.

Since I reflashed Nuebattery is in the phone still. Ill have to wait until I get home and charge it to the wall to remove it and try again.

The way I know the charging cables are working is because I charge my PS3 controller with it and it works fine.

-----------------------

So in conclusion it is the charging cables when its connected via usb cable to my ps3 or computer that the phone doesn't charge.

I dont have the setting that says do not charge phone when connected to pc or some BS like that because it shows that the phone is charging. (The light turns orange and I get a lighting bolt where the battery is)

But for some reason the phone wont get enough juice to charge and constantly turns on (maybe because its connected to the computer or ps3) So it recognizes it. IDK

But even if that is the case I dont understand why it doesn't just charge even when its off.

------------------------------

Please look into it.

and

Thanks

----------------------------

btw Mcluvin Those screenies are BADASS!!!! especially the black with the blue red and green highlights!

Way to go bro!
Remove nueBattery2. It's the source of all your battery issues probably. I'm surprised that you have not already done this. Many people have tested it out and it works.

Uninstall nuebattery2 before you post any further battery charging issues. Please.

I have already looked into it. You're just not doing what I suggested.

and mcluvn, those email pages look out of this world sharp!! I won't have time to try them out till late tonight or tomorrow, but I can't wait. Thanks so much for all your hard work!

I can't make a cab of it because it involved replacing several files from the 23563 OS, things that I don't know how to cab up. Sorry

Re: 2-21-11★SharkieROM v4.1.5★Generic\Sprint★29007\21916★Sense2021

I'm glad you told me that it still wasn't fixed and explained the confusion, but after having found out that it still wasn't working, the first thing I would have done is uninstall nueBattery2 since that's the answer given to everyone that has any sort of battery charging issues and they've all said that after uninstalling that, everything is fine.

I hate that this has caused you so much frustration. Just uninstall nuebattery2 and you should be golden! In 30 seconds all your charging issues can be blown away like a fart in the wind!

If you miss the 1% charging options that it gives, search the paperclip of this thread and you'll find 1% battery increment cabs.

Re: 2-21-11★SharkieROM v4.1.5★Generic\Sprint★29007\21916★Sense2021

I had the same problem until I went to start/settings/system/power/battery, and unchecked the box that says, "When phone is on do not charge the battery when connected to a pc".

If the box is checked it will drain your battery when connected to pc via usb.

No problems man, It's all good. You did well just to remedy the problem. So what version do I need to download? I have the 6.5.X Sprint SharkieROM v4.1.5 version right now. Are there new download links or do we use the existing ones under Downloads?

Thanks Sharkie

I think Sharkie has this fixed in his kitchen and hasnt released a rom with this cooked in yet. So the next release should look like the screenies that he had posted.

Re: 2-21-11★SharkieROM v4.1.5★Generic\Sprint★29007\21916★Sense2021

first of all i must say i love the looks of this rom,the icons are fresh and bold and it has been a treat to browse the folders to find all the treats.it feels like a totally new phone and so finger friendly.
now for my problem that may or may not of been addressed, the thread is growing so big and i cant quite find the right term to search for.i store my contacts on the sim card due to trying so many roms and while i can see the contacts on sim card i cant see them when selecting "contacts".i can copy to main memory and they show up fine but as i add contacts there and later flash phone i will lose the changes.
so is there a way to show sim contacts when selecting "contacts"?

Open up your contacts list then click the little menu button at the bottom and select filter then you should be able to select sim contacts or all contacts and there is a few other options.
