This ROM is a plain Jane standard Sense ROM with NO Sense mods. I'm not absolutely sure what of our Sense mods work with the new 2018 so I've left them all out. I figure you guys can test all yours out and let me know which of the old mods DON'T work with 2018.

I believe I built this ROM with a 12 page pool, but I'm not certain. I built the 1st one like that, but then I had to recook a couple of times because of stupid errors and I can't remember if the final ROM was set at 12 or the default 0 that I usually cook at.


This ROM has fixes in it that we've discussed but that have not yet been implented on any other ROMs such as:

Start Menu icon is now changeable

Comm Manager has been added to Programs list

and a couple of other small changes that I can't remember at the moment.

I've been working on memory all day, but this ROM is the same as the previous as far as memory goes. It was built before I started testing memory changes out.


Please don't flood the thread with issues in this ROM that have been discussed previously with other ROMs.

Feel free to bring up Sense 2018 issues so that I can work on them, if I'm not aware of them.

And of course, I'm always interested in feedback on speed and personal thoughts on the newest line of Sense builds for our phones. What do you like? What do you not like?

This ROM also probably has my email issue in it. The issue is that the email acct. is lost after a soft-reset. Not to worry, it can be regained again with relative ease. If after having soft-reset your email acct. is not showing, go to acct. settings, choose the acct., the next two screens should already have your info. there (username and password, and "Your name"). The third screen is where you will have to type in your "Incoming Mail Server". I only use Gmail and for Gmail it's "imap.gmail.com". The next screen will ask you for your "Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server". Again, for Gmail, it's "smtp.gmail.com".
And, that's it! Your email acct. is back with all previous emails and will now stick through soft-resets forever!

I'm not sure why the info. is lost after the first soft-reset. I'm working on it and that's one of the things holding back an update of all the ROMs.

Anyway, has I mentioned before, this is a quick, play ROM primarily released because bobbyblack asked me to. Keep that in mind...

I've also cooked in Opera10 instead of Opera 9.7 as I know that bobbyblack prefers 10.

I've also learned how to enable the ability to select or deselect the Programs tab from the settings>rearrange tabs page. Due to this I'll be removing the Programs tab toggle switch from all future ROMs and including the fix for the tab rearrangement page's program tab checkbox selection option.

No. Well yes, the programs tab is in the Hybrid, but it's still not able to be disabled via settings. You still have to use the toggle switch. Sorry for the confusion.

sharkie downloaded and about to flash now....for those of you that are wondering on the pagepool size when I looked at it, it's currently set to 0. Just a heads up if you want to make any changes before to the pagepool before flashing

I have that blue remix done, also I know for a fact s2w's Darkvision runs on 2018 without a hitch!

Awesome to hear. As soon as I get some of these other issues fixed I'll sit down and put together a ROM with Darkvison and your Sharkieblue, was it, mod. Some sort of a black out ROM but with blue in it. I like the sound of it.

That sun is BAD ASS, by the way!

That is s2w's Sun graphic. there is a separate cab for it.
