Probably not. That was an issue that StraightUp27 informed me of when he was testing the betas before the first release. In one beta it had been fixed, but I believe in the first release, the issue was back. I guess it's still in this release as well. I will look into it further. How do you change the start menu icon? Can you post your .cab or whatever you use? I'd like to be able to test it out. Perhaps it will lead me in the right direction as far as where to look for the problem, or possibly a temporary solution for you guys until I fix it.

I never post a cab before ( don't know how ) but I use Steve0007 - 6.5X

A quick search of those words led me to themes. Is that how you are trying to change the start icon as in the theme should include a custom start menu icon, but it doesn't change?

I even try to turn sense off, but still no change. I'm go look for a zip icon and try that.

Besides the start icon, what other bugs have you come across? How's your data connection holding up? Did you have to go to Connections and connect?

I believe that is what he is talking about. I've found that it has more to do with the today theme. some 6.5.x themes have a custom start button and others use the roms default start flag.

I was thinking along those lines. I was just poking around the kitchen and was thinking that maybe I should remove the custom icon from my Sharkie405 ReMiX theme and just replace it in the SYS folder. I will try that out later on today. Perhaps this will then allow the file to be overwritten.

to change the start icon you first need your image to be a 48x48 .png then you simply rename the file to classicblue_bubble_flag.png and copy to windows folder and soft reset

so easy i make all my own

Naw... I have no problems with that, I have notice when I use my keyb. it goes into portrait and I have to open and close it a couple of times to get it to back into landscape. Nothing serious (no biggy) But my connections NO PROBLEMS. Great ROM, I'm feeling it. THANKS
