my idea, i hope, is that like the tp2 get a great phone all decked out and then keep it for 2 yrs. so if i know im gonna keep it for longer than some, i wanna make sure ill be happy that long too

ive noticed that tapping the "x" closes the running app. is there a way to return this to default? instead of closing just minimizing thanks.

long pressing the x will minimize and not close apps. I'm pretty sure this setting can be changed in Start Menu>System Tools>uTask. I've never set it to only minimize, so I'm not sure exactly where in the utask settings that would be and since I don't currently have a TP2, I can't find out for you, but I'm pretty sure there is a way. If you find it, report back in case someone else also wants to know. Thanks! :)

Actually now that I re-read that post I linked, go to : "Keys" at the bottom, on that page choose: "Close Key". Once you've highlighted "Close Key" go to the "Configure Key" tab at the bottom. I believe there you will find the option to make the x/close button close or minimize apps.

Sharkie is correct, got to start/system tools/utask/ open - highlight close key - select configure key at the bottom - then pick minimize - ..and don't forget to hit save.

Just for the sake of keeping everyone in the loop,

The ebay seller says that he will ship the phone 1 day after the action ends, which was yesterday. Assuming that it doesn't leave till Monday, I believe I should have the phone by Wed. or so. He's in VA and I'm in NC so it's a short distance to travel.

As you know I've been working on different version of my ROM. I had gotten things to a point to where I was almost about ready to put it out there. I was working on one last thing the night my phone died. I may have actually done it. I noticed the phone was dead as I was about to flash the last ROM to test it. Anyway, assuming I get the new phone on time and assuming that I'm able to do the last thing I wanted to do, I will hopefully be able to put something out next weekend for you guys. :)

Sharkie - glad to hear you are back. Curious if you or others overclock their TP2? The one complaint I have with the phone is that it sometime gets very sluggish (no matter what ROM I use). I don't run CHT. I have very few apps (I have over 60 MB free). It is especially sluggish when I hang up a call then try to bring up contacts to dial another person. I can count to almost 7 before I can get the phone to hangup and get contacts to appear. Wondering if overclocking would help. It might be that I have too many contacts. Curious to hear from you and others.
