It works, I can confirm that with this ROM my phone will now charge from any mini USB adapter.

We are immediately flashing all of our Touch Pro 2's to this ROM.

Can you post how you did this?, was it as simple as a battery.dll swap?

(P.S. - sorry about my earlier post describing problems with charging , I may have been composing it as you were uploading this breakthrough (for me) ROM)

Awesome!! Thanks for letting me know. Yes, I just used a different battery.dll. What I may do since I know that one works, is cook that one in and have NueBattery install at boot up (cuz I like it), this way you'd be able to remove NueBattery and it's .dll and be left with only the one that works for you.

I'll keep everyone posted on this. At least now I know what works!

Nope. I routinely run the generic version on my Sprint TP2. I don't really ever use the Sprint Tabs anymore, but they're just cool and I love tabs. I'm a more tabs the merrier kinda person. But anyway, the tabs are the only difference. There's a Sprint carrier cab in "Carrier Provisioning" in System Tools.

Everything seems to be golden. The chargers work now and I get to play with a new rom. Thanks for the fix. A bunch!

Are those new start menu icons going to be a cab in the new ROM? If so, can you post so we can see? I want to give this ROM a few more days to see if not using nuebattery has an affect on battery life or not. If not a cab, I can reflash in a few days.

Glad you are a stubborn perfectionist and did not listen to my suggestion about not trying the battery.dll swap. Nice work.

No, I don't have a cab. I've replaced the old icons in my kitchen with these new ones I made. I tried making a cab for them and it works in the start menu, but when I tried setting them as a quicklink (both CHT and non-CHT) the quicklink kept using the old icon.

Anyone know why?? If there's a way to fix this either in my cab or something that you guys can do on your phones, then I'll post a cab of them.

Although, I did post a zip of them HERE in the XDA iReflect icon thread. You could probably use an icon changer app to put them in place correctly so that the quicklink icons change as well. I'm not sure I've never used one...

like the redone icons. i can get used to the 2 step close all, its just hard to teach a dog new tricks, we can be stubborn to try new things. but i am liking the hidden softkey of utask freeing up my long press send key. dont no if u were still looking for replacent 1% cab but if so xda in rhodium section. 1 by chainfire for gsm base the some1 elsr did 1 for cdma base
