Sharkie, I'm using your 23152 ROM and had something strange happen.

Since I wanted to make some changes to my quick links I didn't load my PIM backup. The first quick link I added was my daughter's phone contact to the lower left corner of the home page. It was added correctly, but then copied her picture as the background for all the other quick links. Normally, the quick link has a big plus (+) for unassigned spots. Now I have my daughter's pic replicated instead of the plus. When I scroll up on the home page I end up looking at 16 little pics of my girl.

I'll leave it for a couple of days, because I like looking at her adorable face. But when I re-flash, I'll link my apps back.

I don't know why it happened and just wanted to report it to you. I've really been enjoying your ROMs.

LOL, that is very strange. I've never had nor heard of that happening. What quicklink mods, if any, have you used? Are we talking CHT or no CHT? Are we talking the 23152 R1 most recently posted or did you snag the very first one that was only up for a few hours?

It's the R1 ROM from post #2027 and no mods from me. I did a Task29, flashed the ROM, let the provisioning run, did a soft reset, and then assigned the quick link. I've never had this happen before either.

I can touch the unassigned links and they go to the "Add Quick Link" menu just like normal. Maybe you just have a new customization option to offer now. :)

I hope it's not to do with uTask at all. That would suck. That's really the only major new difference. I assigned a contact as a quicklink just to check it out and didn't have any problems. I'll keep my eye out for it to see if I can recreate it.

Since I'm also on 23152 but no co0kie running UTask I tried to reproduce but worked as it is supposed to.

I would also love to use this ROM but can only charge when tethered after flashing, a .cab to restore the original battery.dll may fix this and would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for continuing to update the ROMs for the TP2!!!

How is your battery doing on 23152? If good, how does it compare to 686? I am going to try 29007.

Have been running 29007 for about an hour. First impressions:

- Most responsive ROM I have ever used - very zippy
- backlight settings still flip/flopped :-)
- Verizon shows - personalizer does not seem to be working
- battery at 54% from 100% - concerned may have issues - need to give it a few days though
- contacts sync with no problems

100% o 54% in one hour?? No way that's the standard for this ROM. Like you said give it a day or two. I've been on 29007 for about a day now and battery life seems good to me.

Any of you guys with the inability to charge issues tried this regedit?

"DontRoundPercentage"=dword:00000001

By default, it's set to "1". If no one has yet, try changing that to a "0" and see if that helps.

Edit: Nevermind, probably. I remember someone saying that they tried changing that setting in nuebattery and it didn't help... You guys were soft resetting after trying to change this setting in nuebattery settings right? I can't remember if it's prompts you to soft reset afterwards, but registry changes usually will only take effect after a soft reset...

I'm going to cook up a 29007 with Nuebattery removed. You guys with the charging issue, test it out for me. It'll be up in a couple of hours.

Sharkie - you ended up finding a new battery, right? A different model HTC device but used the same battery as HTC Pro 2? If so, what model? My battery is over 2 years old now - might be time.
