For whatever it might be worth, I tried the generic version, uninstalling all of cabs I could, no joy. The video in 3.0 looks just like it is running at half speed but the audio runs at full speed. The video runs for awhile, then it "catches up" with the audio.

Uploading 6.5.X Generic SharkieROM v3.0 R1 (exactly the same as v3.0 except that I'm using WM build 21686 instead of 23563). It'll be ready in a little less than an hour. I'll post back with a link when it's ready.

Thanks Sharkie for working on a new R1 today. Sounds like your day was kind of shot doing this. Appreciate it.

btw ... you mentioned you were thinking on what could have changed and you mentioned some graphical changes. With that said, I decided to remove most of the Sharkie cabs to see if there was any effect to the battery life for me. There was not - so hoping it is the WM build. I did notice again though that after removing the Sharkie cabs that all of the menus after you click Start are garbled like I mentioned on the previous ROM's. The home Sense screen is fine though. Even though I removed the Sharkie Remix Cab, the Home appearance screen would not let me delete the theme. It stated the Sharkie Remix theme is a system file. I have attached screenshot in case you are curious.

Hopefully the new ROM you are cooking will cure the battery issue for me. Thanks again.

I'll have to look into the ReMix Theme then. I never remove it, so I hadn't ever run into these issues with it. Thanks for letting me know. Needless to say, nothing has been changed in this area with v3.0 R1.

Although, in my thinking about themes, I've removed all the themes (.tsk and pngs) except for the "Classic Blue" theme in which case I've only removed the .tsk but left in the pngs, just so in case one were to find themselves themeless, as you have, there would be buttons there and not just empty space. I was expecting people to change themes to a theme that they had already put in place. It seems odd that someone would remove the only theme. I'm a bit confused as to what you were trying to do to begin with. In any event, I have some ideas on how to change the implentation of my theme in the ROM which will hopefully fix the inability to remove my theme. I did simply uninstall my theme and I get what I figured I would get:

It all seems to work, even when I go into a folder and back. Anyway, hopefully I can get my theme up to 100% here shortly. There have always been little issues here and there with it that I've never really been fully satisfied with. I've learned a lot since the last time I had a serious look at my theme.


When you download it, it's mistakenly labeled as 6.5 Generic SharkieROM v3.0 R1. It is the 21686 version of v3.0, don't worry. :)

Let me know... It should be an excellent test of one build against another. I'm curious as to the results.

Downloading now as well. I will be sticking with your theme - thanks for trying to remove to see what would happen.

I will report back as well. If it is like last time, it took a few days before it started draining the battery.
