So I mistakenly let my battery die all the way while the phone was in bootloader mode last night after I had task29'ed it, and so now I can't flash anything on the phone. I don't have any extra battery or a way to charge the battery without it being in the phone. Everytime I plug it up it will charge for a few seconds and then turn on, but it only stays on for a few seconds. It won't charge while it's on and only showing the splash screen, since that's the only software on the phone (no ROM), which also means that I can't keep the screen from turning on and using up juice. So it turns off after a few seconds. Once it's off, it charges for a few seconds again and then comes back on but not with enough juice for me to flash anything on it. Then the cycle will repeat itself.

I'm off to hopefully find an extra TP2 battery or an wall charger or something for the battery I have. I don't know that I'll be able to find one in a store since the phone is so old now. We'll see, I might have to order one online. Anyway, that's why I haven't posted up the 21686 v3.0 yet. Hopefully later on today sometime I'll be back up and running.

take the battery out and with phone off plug into charger then place battery in the phone with it off,regardless of what software is on the phone it should charge that way,just needs the voltage traveling to the contacts,had the same thing happen before

worse come to worse if you need i can send you a battery,i have 3

Yeah, it will charge, but once it has enough juice, it turns itself on. I can't keep it from turning itself on. Then of course what little juice it has is gone again.

well thats strange as hell :scratch: keep me posted on the issue or if you can't find a charger/battery today i will charge you one up and send it to you bro,offer still stands :)

Aight so luckily, the TP2 battery is the same as the Evo battery, so finding a wall charger was easy. Still got some work to do on the 21686 though. It'll be up later on today sometime. :)

Hi,

First off, I love Sharkie ROM! I am however having one minor problem. In the 2.0 6.5.x Sprint version, when I played a DVD formatted for my phone I get no audio. When I play the same video on 3.0 6.5.x Sprint rom I get audio, but the video play back at about half speed and it is choppy. I have not had this problem with other rom's I have tried. Any ideas??

Not off of the top of my head, buy video playback is one of the things I need to look into. I'll keep everyone in the loop as far as that goes. Sorry that I don't have answer right now.

Cool, if you find that cab post it up so I can check it out. Does it also keep it from waking up when locked when the keyboard is opened?
