Thanks Sharkie! Back up and running with all my contacts using CE v2 R4. Definately a bug in ActiveSync with that release R1 release. Battery at 50% - using nonstop for 2 hours now between your recent R1 and now the CE v2 R4.

Sharkie - what are your thoughts of using build 23150 (the same as CE v2 R4) rather than the 21686? I never had battery issues with 23150 and it would avoid you having to deal with the DLL fix for Activesync. Or was that max ringer volume issue (having it again) part of this build that was too hard to fix?

no, the ringer issue was a separate issue not build related. I assumed that you guys were talking about 21686. I've already built one with 21686. I can upload another 21350 tomorrow. There's not much else new coming down the lines anyway.

One of us have a typo in the versions above (probably me - I need to get to bed). My understanding is your R1 you posted tonight for the battery issues was WM 21686. I found the contacts issue with Active Sync. You said you can upload WM 21350 - I think you mean 23150 right? 23150 seems solid to me as I ran it most of December (it was your CE v2.0 R4).

Sharkie, just flashed even though things have been rock solid. (had the extra time, sorry slthomas) I too have a weird contact issues. I use PIMBackup. When I restored my contacts I too have have missing contacts ( only noticed because they have a * in front of them so they list first) Also none of the contacts showed up in the sense people favorites as they normally do. Any quick thoughts? Will reflash tommorrow as a just in case.

BTW could be me, but I did the same 'ol as hundreds of times before. When I dialed one of the missing contacts it does show up in the dialer.
