When is the last time you let it loose power to the point that it shut off a couple of times and then fully charged it uninterupted, then when if was full, unplugged it and plugged it back in till the light turned green again and then did that one more time? I read that somewhere a while back and I do it every so often and it definitely seems to help by battery. Although, a new battery wouldn't hurt.

Correct, the EVO uses the same battery as the TP2.

No, but I can put a Sprint v3.29007 up. Just wanted to get those up for the couple of generic users that were having battery issues with v3.0

im a little confused, what are the differences between the 3 generic roms listed under the 1/25/11 update? Also, which is more stable the 6.5 or 6.5x?

Is there a way to get the EPST working on your v3 rom. I tried to enter ##3282# and it acts like it wants to start then just returns to the dialpad.

What sys did you choose. I have never used it but tried it out on my 23152 and mine pulled up to view, edit, or cancel. Each on worked.

I am using 21916. i guess i'll try out 23563, although i really don't care for it.

I'm on 29007 at the moment and it's working fine here. I tried quickly afte reading your first post and it didn't work. I hadn't ran the Sprint provisioning cab yet.

After running the Sprint provisioning cab and the soft resetting, dialing ##3282# starts the view, edit or cancel screen. From there all seems to work as it should.

Did you run any sort of carrier provisioning first. If not, that might help...

I've never tried it till just now. I'll flash the 21916 in the next day or so and have a look see.
