Don't worry, I may decide to buy a used TP2 for cheap, if I can find one. I really don't want this to be the end of my TP2 ROM... We'll see :)

I knew this was going to happen :pale: ... same thing happened to Vin, now you. I was hoping you were going to get one off craigslist and wait for the Evo3D. Guess I'll be taking the leap when 3D comes out as this is getting to be a dated phone... still serves it's purpose for me as of now and trying to hang on to my SERO as long as possible.

Hey sorry for the slow response, had to work which took me on the road and out of touch...

The Sprint Messenger program I'm referring to is from the actual original Sprint ROM. It bundles AIM, MS, and Yahoo IM in one place. Kinda nice... Sprint Lovers rom had this included. I'm not deep enough into it to know that much about the history.

Aight, so I'm scoping (watching) several CDMA TP2s on EBay that all time out tomorrow. I'm going to try and bid on one. Even if I don't win the bid, I saw plenty that were available for not too much money. So, have no fear, SharkieROM will live on!

WoOt! good to hear.
after 2 years of suffering/enjoying a stock touch pro, i learned how to flash a ROM. i knew i wanted an evo when they were first on the horizon but couldn't give up a really old plan that was modified into a family plan in 2004. to avoid getting reamed by sprint,i upgraded to a tp2 just a week or so ago, kept my old plan and started lurking all the top tp2 chefs work looking for something to try.

i bounced around starting with mighty, (like many do) tried several others, then settled in here a week or so ago. for me i felt i luckily stumbled into the perfect mix, everything i wanted without the crap i didn't want, and the ability to tweak/add the stuff that wasn't there. thank you so much for your hard work and support.

i was a little panicked when i read of your recent problem and bummed when you decided to go EVO, but thankful to hear of your decision to pick up another tp2 and considering releasing your kitchen for us to keep the torch burning.
i know i came late to the party but i have been lurking for quite a while before i signed up. thanks again.

this is good news...as i dont really like many of the new phones out right now (any carrier) and im gonna keep waiting for the 1. this is the longest i held out on a new phone so im hoping to keep it going and thats all thanks to your rom.

Yeah, I got to say, I wasn't all that impressed with the evo. My ROM is much more customizable. Sense can do more with our ROMs these days thanks to cookie than stock evo. Im still learning android, but just wanted to put my initial thoughts out there for those of you who, like me, feel like your missing out by not upgrading. Thanks to ROMs like mine the TP2 remains a formidable foe in the smart phone game. I can't wait to get back into mine. :)
