I never had a "flex ribbon" detach or break ever, on a TP2
but regarldless, sprint techs should be able to fix that.
They also replace screens for other units like Evo.
Problem is our unit is old, so they may not have part on hand.
I going today to get my brothers Epic "ribbon" replace,
as one end of it came off..

It may be an app you using,
as every sense tab use goes to landscape when open I keyboard.
Only the picture tab auto-rotates,
but contact list works for me and goes to landscape mode when slide out keyboard.
Edit: I using 6.5rom..

Its working fine now, I have it replaced yesterday. I just ordered a flex on ebay around $25, the package came with the screw and all the tools needed to open the tp2, so I just replaced it myself.

I used the hardware keyboard alot, that could have been the reason why it broke.

PS: the old ribbon connector have a lot scratches all over it when I removed it, it could been due to the friction caused by sliding the keyboard and that may have also caused the malfunction.

Hey does anyone know where I can go to on the TP2 SharkieROM for enabling incoming call (call waiting) sound notification when I am already talking on the phone?

I keep missing all incoming calls that occur while I am on the phone. I get the missed call notification sounds but never a sound or beep while speaking on the phone and another call comes through.

* I have the system settings / volume up high - and when speaking not on a hands-free connection

I would have to actually look at my phone every few seconds to see if something was coming and then I could pick up - but this is totally inconvenient.

Or is there a place where to "call waiting" tone can be set?

I looked at : start > settings > personal > phone and under cdma services "call waiting" was not listed (not sure if it was supposed to be) / in the GSM services - "call waiting" is there but everything is greyed out.
