^ look inside task manager and see whats still running even check the process to see whats there that shouldnt be on?

on another note it has been well documented that 90%-100% will always drain fastest but that slows down after that mark, not sure why this is but it is

Thanks for the input but I disqualified memaid since its a paid program and a FREAKING EXPENSIVE ONE 29.95. Are you kidding me.

I tried sktools and while I think it has alot of bells and whistles It doesn't compare to clear temp. I ran sktools 4 times and then I ran clear temp and it cleared up 1.7mb storage data that sktools missed.

So I run clear temp and clean ram stage 3 every day. or even multiple times a day. Try to keep my phone clean.

I would just like to know what I should set the other two custom files. One is on youtube temp files.

Re: 3-26-11★SharkieROM v5.0★Generic\Sprint★29007\21916★Sense2021

The phone needs to go through at least 2 full charge/drain cycles after a flash before the battery will settle in and you will be able to truly get a gauge on it's battery life. This ROMs battery life is good. KJ, is right in that the 1st 10% will drain very quickly, especially if it's the 1st cycle since the flash.\

Give it a couple of charging cycles and report back. When you report also list all mods/cabs you have installed, if any.

Oh, and always my 1st question, did you Task29 first?

Thanks for trying out the ROM!

@ ModMyPPC,
Since I'm new to ClearTemp, I don't have an answer for you yet, but I'm always about better memory management and I will look into what those other two custom folders should be set as to maximize cleaning efficiency.

well i guess its not that sluggish ...well things like this make me mad..or at least I dont understand it completely....lets say i scroll to the text messages ..coo itll scroll nicely and once i let go ..about half a second to display .COO...but once i press All messages ...being that its the 1st time i press it....takes about 3 full seconds to finally pop up to the INbox .. but this is where i dont get it...if i scroll back to it and do it all again...then its fast and takes like once second.....soooooooooooooooo i guess and think it has something to do with cache , or page pool or something in that nature Im not 100% sure because Im not to fimilar with how that really works.

Re: 3-26-11★SharkieROM v5.0★Generic\Sprint★29007\21916★Sense2021

Someone else mentioned the opening up of the WM SMS screen from Sense as taking abnormally long as well. Since then I've flash several other popular ROMs and they all seemed to take about as long. Like you noted, the delay seems longer the 1st time it's opened.

Can anyone who regularly flashes other ROMs speak on whether they feel my ROM is slower than the norm in this area?

Thats because its probably still running in the background when you select it again.

How do you back out of the programs. Do you hit the back key do you hit the end key do you transfer to another program like making a phone call...

Once you back out check your taskmanager.

I know it was a little sluggish for me a while back. I also had a problem going into landscape mode. Took way to long. maybe 5 seconds.

I did a complete SDcard reformat (about an hour long) and it fixed my issue. its expected to take about 2 seconds. With his new rom. AND THAT IS TYPICAL from what ive tested on sharkies roms vs others here and a few other forums.

-----------------------------

Sharkie, do you have any issues with the proximity sensor not working correctly during calls. For me it may be the fact that I have a hardcover over it. BUt there is a hole where I think the proximity sensor is. IDK... I took it off and I had the same problem.

Also I created a thread because I have problems with the end key and how it behaves on making a call. PLease look at this thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/htc-touch-...bout-snap.html

There is another one of your users to claim to have the same problem. Let me know what you think and if you can recreate it and if it is a problem within your rom.

I currently tried the regedit by elesbb and the cab by max Im having problems trying to test these fixes.

BTW. I removed the notifications enhancement. The start menu. HTC album cache under application data. I removed alot of those sounds you have under appliction data (only kept generic ring 2 and smile alert for notifications)

Im running at 114mb of storage memory & 102mb of program memory oc'd at 768mhz. and this biotch is smoking fast!
