23678 ROM is working well so far.. Got a few things to work out and should be ready for a public release in next couple days

I just switched to this ROM from the Energy ROM. I think this is amazing. I only have one issue. With Energy I was able to go in to Settings - System - Task Manager and configure how I want my "x" to perform when pressed within a program. Now I do not have Task Manager in my Settings anywhere nor do I have the option anywhere that I can see to control the "x" behavior. So basically anything I open, even texting or mail just sits and I have to manually go into the drop down task manager in the taskbar and end task on them. If I don't they eat the battery life very quickly.

Can you help me out? Thanks!!

This is how I got the Input Settings to show up:

Delete the Redirect key under the registry [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]

There is also a Redirect key under TaskMgr. This may work, not sure.

I saw that posted earlier in the thread. I don't have the redirect under either. Oh well. I guess I'll have to install the 6.5.x because this is making me too batty to just deal with it as is.

go into tools folder under start menu
click on AMeBa settings
there you can change functionality of what the start and "x" buttons do.

is this what you were asking?

how do you change it. i opened ameba and closed it and changed nothing that i know of, and now the x doesn't do anything. i didn't see anything that actually referenced the X action. obviously i'm less than competent at this stuff.
