i dont know if you and max are already talking about it, but i stumbled on this a few hours ago, and figured it would be worth a try to help fix the landscape messaging problem temporarily, if it is usable at all. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6362736&postcount=1295

You could take a pic in the dark or cover up the lens, and use that for your wallpaper on the maxsense, that is what I did if you are looking for a black wallpaper.

I am also showing some love...I don't really understand why people complaint about free services, the chefs and others here do things not really expecting payment.
I have an idea, if you don't like the roms or you are easily disappointed or expect a 100% functional software then stay away from the forums, because this is not for you.

three-wait (a lot) before downloading-if you think you need to complain for any version that has NOT sustained a month at least of testing and fixes so that you can realize a version which is PRACTICALLY error free (and I say practically, as even the STOCK ROMS have glitches, I can name ten at least)
four-commit to being useful, and assisting with identification of problems-which ASSISTS everyone

instead of moaning like little girls with their dresses on-'cause in the programming world your attitudes on a programming team would be dispensed with in two seconds as NON-assistor-because the job is hard enough without the asses that think they can do better! try to be a supporter, a patron, a boost to the project, and then champion your usefulness to the community by your input. none of this is happening with the compainers of the bunch-and I can identify a SELECT few!

this other crap has to stop! PLEEEEEEEEASE! it is irritating-like when someone whom never had a kid cries about how much it hurts to have one-not knowing a damn thing about it being in labor.

Anyone, if I am wrong, let me know, but, I have had it with the "shmoes" here that want to moan with no understanding of the work entailed, period.

BIG-keep it up. 99.9% of us appreciate your willingness to do this for FREE, fix things ASAP and set the upload immediately (at the cost of your life and time) for others that perhaps have no appreciation for your time and that of the other supporters/beta testers here.

OPS/Admins-Perhaps we need to ban those that go posting to multiple forums their dismay with what is here. This is a community, and I do not need those parties, if I had to choose, in MY community at all.

also, maybe a dumb question, but ive searched high and low and i cant find the "htc\common\***" folder. its not viewable through total commander at all. the XML files in the rom all point to this folder, and a couple of entries all say it is on the root. i wanna see whats there and play around. can it only be viewed in development stages or do i need a different file explorer?

landscape messaging fixed through the 2 cabs I dropped, gyrator and changescreen..here they are again

use one or the other...changescreen works on all pages for portrate and landscape, messaging-everything, gyrator only does messaging...both work well...read back 5-10 pages on the full workings of both

couldnt find the original post, still looking, but its still doing the same thing. the landscape messaging think im talking about is when you slide the keyboard out in HTC messaging, the contact, email, facebook, phone slider tab thing stays in the foreground. still looking just to make sure though....

This is a revamp of some of my work I posted a few days back..personally I like it much better. Just thought I would throw it out there...now if I can just firgure out how to create cab files to do all these edits for me I could make my life much easier..gonna have to check out Bigs tutorial I guess...
