Your best bet would be to re-download/re-install. It sounds like a bad flash, and hard reseting is just re-installing any files that may be corrupt.

I'm still on the 6-9 rom and eagerly awaiting the next release.

I had posted a while back about the problem with sounds/alerts not playing. I don't believe that I got a reply, but if I did, I missed it.

The tone that I have set for my ringtone is a wma file. It generally doesn't sound when my phone rings, but this same wma file didn't have trouble before the 6-9 release, nor did it with any other rom that I've tried. It doesn't matter what wma file I select, it's a no go. Only .wav plays consistently.

This morning, I was shocked to hear my phone actually RING. What a sweet sound. I hadn't changed any settings.

After the call, I saw the message:
MaxSense.mscr (in title bar)
Cannot open 'MaxSense'. A critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable.'

Could it be that it was maxsense, when running properly, that was stopping the sounds from playing, and now because MaxSense couldn't run (out of memory I guess), that the sound was finally able to play?

Was this addressed in 6-25?

Of course it was, it was the biggest fix from the 9th to the 25th. You need to update badly. Or wait a day or so for the next release, you should follow big on twitter to know when the newest roms drop and then come and check the change log for the fixes.

Wait, you mean people actually want their phone to ring? Is it ok if I still use the excuse that "there's something wrong with my phone and it didn't ring - sorry I missed your call."

I'll update now and then again in a couple of days. - I just hate redownloading my exchange mailbox each time...

Have you considered setting up your own forum? Back when I was a beta tester for you, I saw the threads there and I know they're better organized.

Back when the SSK rom was alive, there was a separate website for the forums. That let us have different threads on different topics and made it >>much<< easier to follow everything.

Instead of having to ask a question in this huge single thread and then parsing through the other posts to find the answer, we were able to have separate threads. Subscribe to the one thread and you'd know when it was answered.

Of course SSK is dead now, but I don't think it had to do with the forums...

PPCGeeks is a tremendously valuable resource, but for those of us who can't be on 24/7 its a bit cumbersome to use.

Just a thought.

So might we expect a nice independence day gift of a new ROM? Maybe even a RW&B theme to match?

Awe I am so sad, came home from work hoping to find a new rom to flash but it looks like we gotta wait a bit longer! It such a tease to know a new update is going to be released soon!
As always looking forward to the new tweaks and changes!

Hey all, It seems that the mobile upload to facebook function is not working, I could have swore I seen the icon somewhere inside my start menu, but cannot find it anymore. Or maybe it was the last release. Either way If it's out it would be nice to have back.

Also not a major issue, but when replying to a message and opening the keypad the little bubbles for various options at the bottom cover the text screen until you click inside, just kinda annoying, but like I said not major at all.

I am also having some problems it seems with the internet explorer and opera using my WIFI when it's on, it doesn't seem much faster. Could it be something with the ROM or, maybe just the two web browsers.

My upload to facebook from album works fine, just use that its faster and easier.

Just open album>find the pic>press the circle with 2 arrows on it>press upload to facebook.

Just make sure you signed into facebook in the data connections tab in settings.

Does anyone know where I can get a free copy of IM+? It was included with other ROMs but doesnt seem to be on this one...also how do we get a program button or a widget to lock our phone from the home screen? Also does anyone know how to get a slider turn off program versus the pshut? Any information or direction is appreciated
