There's nothing wrong with it, I just don't have one and don't really have a need for one. I don't want to assume that everyone that tries out my ROM will have one either.

For the people that like to dual boot with android it is recommended to take it out. Some people may lose it after doing this

Can someone explain the OEMXipKernel to me? All the builds I find come with the SYS and MSXipKernel, but no OEMXipKernal. Do we just keep using the same OEM from other builds in the same line? Is there a place to get these?

Sorry for the noob question, but thanks to whoever can take the time to explain it...

OEMXipKernel is device specific. You can use any OEMXipKernel from any Rhodium Dump... as far as WHAT exactly the OEMXipKernel IS or DOES is beyond me but i know there are 6.1 kernels and 6.5 kernals

Everything scrolls fine without htcmessagingclient, I do not need an 'GC' fixes for message tab since Leo is not a dual-sim device, facebook integration works as default, etc. You probably know, but use the Start Icon Loader from Leo 3.14 if you try this. Others may work, but I think it's easiest to use the version included in the ROM with Manila_Core.

HTCMessagingClient just does not work to well with CDMA devices. Old versions would work ok, but break mms. I didn't have any luck getting newer versions to work, but I didn't mess with it too much. I use kimi's messaging mod with the above manila, and it works fine.

I don't really need to go thanking everyone these come from do I? I mean you guys know way better than I where these come from. I just did the work and thought I'd save someone some time. All these are either from Tael's XDA thread or Bike's at MUI.

I'm pretty sure that I tried that core and got the same results with the scrolling in Sense messaging. But, as you guys are mostly right and my initial thoughts are mostly wrong, I'll give it another go. Thanks.
