I forgot that I cancelled my account and so it's over the 200mb free limit anyway. Uploading to VBN files instead.

I've been trying out the newest HTC Messaging Clients posted both at MUI and Pyrorob's XDA thread. I'm getting a "Unable to send message because there is no valid SIM card inserted in the phone". I've searched both threads and couldn't seem to pull up any posts that mention this message. Is there a fix that I'm missing or do I really need a SIM card in my phone? I know there are other MMS issues, but it seems like people have texting at least working with CDMA/Sprint phones...

it works great for me on sprint... you have to make sure you run connection setup and select att as the carrier though, then you have to go back and put in sprint mms settings so you can at least receive them but you still need arcsoft to send pix. But maybe you do need a sim in because the client was built for gsm but you knew that

i cannot say for for but i believe my line of thinking is logical (GSM program = needs SIM present?)

I was hoping to use this in my public ROM since I can't get the scrolling issue fixed with 2017 18 or 19 Core. I can't use it though, if it in fact requires a SIM card since not everyone (including myself) has a SIM card. Thanks for your help.

whats wrong with having a sim in your phone though? what ill affects does it cause lol
