Sorry, I meant the HTC Task Manager drop down task manager that is activated from the taskbar.

I have a white box where the little icon should be and I can't figure it out. I've removed all my other taskbar packages one by one and none of them have any effect.

Can someone on 6.5 with a taskbar icon showing post what they have in their registry at:

This is what is in the packages I have by default. I know about the other values in this string and I have those all set correctly to show the icon. With these values as they are I get no icon. If I remove them, I get a white square. I have the icon .png in my taskmanager package.

Did you ever find out what was causing the black bar in your pictures and video while in landscape mode, mine doesn't have the black bar, but the play button doesn't show as seen in the screen shot below, any one have any ideas?

The black bar was caused by the BG4ALL package that I was using. Sandtod posted one that worked to fix that issue HERE.
