EXT's can have 409 folders as well.

Hey guys

3 things that are not like they should be
and I was wondering if it was kitchen related, or release related.


1. In start menu, pictures & videos, in menu, tools, Options, I have 4 tabs at the bottom, not 2 like the stock rom, General, Slide show, Camera, Video, the first 2 work, the Camera, and Video tabs are screwy, they don't do anything.

2. If I open a text document with with word mobile in the stock rom, I can drag the stylus over a word and it will highlight all the text that I drag it over, I then can delete the text or cut paste or what ever,
with the build from the kitchen, it wont drag over the word, I can only delete one letter at a time.

3 Touch input is missing from settings, personal, input, am I missing a keyboard, or touch item from the kitchen.


I did try searching for these, I'm only posting cause I'm at a dead end,

First of all, what stock ROM are you running. There's been two stock ROMS since the release of the 6.5.

-about Word Mobile, have you tried tap and hold/Make Selection - now you can copy, edit, paste etc etc

about pictures and video I'm not sure but sounds interesting

about input settings - search for welropes post on deleting a key in the SYS to get input settings back, good luck

Sory I'm talking about the 6.5 Rom, but both Stock 6.5, and 6.1 will allow you to drag the stylus over text in a .txt file without having to tap and drag

I tried tap and hold and nothing with selection pops up, only thing that comes up is - Select All, Font, Paragraph, Spelling, Insert Date, and thats it nothing else, Select all does just that selects all.

I will keep looking about the Touch input, I see some posts where he said he fixed it but nothing so far as to what he did.

I just flashed back to the Sprint 6.5 ROM and have a few ideas about the "text selection" issue

both Stock Sprint roms (6.1/6.5) have the old version of Microsoft Office included as a base-

Office 2010 requires a tap and hold to get text selection options.

Are you cooking with Office 2010 or standard Office?
-standard office on stock 6.5 rom has text selection without tap and hold

Though if you're cooking office standard and don't get this as default i would recommend updating to Office 2010 as it's better to have the option to edit a step later, than not being able to edit the document, hope this helps.

Im looking into the Pictures&Video extra options you mentioned by running a backup kitchen based on these packages to test, keep you posted
