How does one change the dsm's in an OEM?

I want to install the start icon in a different folder.

Im having a huge problem using this kitchen when trying to dump the latest sprint rom release (manila 2.5 build 21889) I like this build because i've used it since it's release and have no issues at all with it, the only thing i would like to do is to use the kitchen to strip out all of the unnecessary sprint bloatware and add my own ext's. the problem begins when i initiate the dump process and it would "dump" for about 5 minutes and end at "payload was reduced successfully" and then freeze at that point-is there anything i can do to get this working?

I haven't seen this asked before. I set up bookmarks in my Cookie's quicklinks with custom icons. However, when I actually open up the website, it leaves a screenshot of the webpage and ruins the look of my icons. Any one have any ideas?
As you see, the top two rows are websites, but three of them don't have my custom icons.
I tried to set the registry entry for IsReadOnly to 1, but that doesn't seem to do it. Any ideas?

Don't know about the freezing problem. I've dumped that rom into 3 different EV kitchens myself without a problem. You will still need to take the some EXT's from the dump to add some required files to your OEM folder. I tried the same thing you are wanting to do without much immediate success. I'll upload a fresh dump in a few min when I get on my other computer.

NOTE: I found that if you fallback to HTC Framework 1.5.2012.3420.00 you will have to also rollback to the USB To PC PopUp 2.2.1917.1630.0
Also, could you lemme know if the new version of framework is causing any lag in your CommManager and Wifi On/Off. It would help me with troubleshooting

Ok, so here's my official opinion on the USBtoPC PopUp matter...

The only USBtoPC that works for me 100% of time, meaning that I can switch back and forth between using async when plugged up or the disk drive option (which, when set to this option and the phone is plugged in, a Windows Explorer window on your PC with the contents of your phone's storage card should immediately open up) is USBtoPC PopUp 2.2.1917.1630.0. I'm using this with HTC Framework 1.5.2014.2420.00. The other two newer USBtoPC PopUps that I've tried don't work to enable the disk drive option but about 30% of the time, if that. It doesn't seem to matter what version of HTC Framework I use. While the newer verson of USBtoPC looks cooler, if it doesn't work properly, WTF, there's no point in using it.

I have used all the newer USB to PC's without issue. And with a few different HTCFrameworks too. Just an FYI.
