I want to eradicate certain menu icons such as notes, search, footprints, htc reader and a few others... what's the cleanest way to cook these out?

I have a Touch and a Touch Pro that I use for backup purposes. I just log into Sprint and reactivate whichever I want to use until my TP2 is repaired.

Not sure why you can not do the same.

For notes and stuff, you need to edit initflashfiles.dat, and remove the short cut there. For ereader, footprints etc, need to disable manila shortcuts.

I've started over in a new kitchen, but I keep getting the "Warning!!! found duplicate on module" what seems like a hundred times and then the kitchen just gets stuck and I can't even cancel the build or anything. I have to force it to close via the task manager. I'm not cooking in any duplicate files. Anyone have any ideas?

Its trying to replace a module, and it doesnt like it. You are cooking in duplicate files....

I am assuming it is assisteddialing.dll. But check to see which module crashes the PRB.
