what works for me is to save a copy of a working kitchen on my server and if something gets borked i grab the kitchen off the server and in seconds i am back in business.

as i upgrade the packages in the kitchen i store upgrades in a folder and if i need to grab the kitchen backup all i have to do is import the newer packages into the kitchen.

i havent had to do this too often, but it has made it easier to recover from kitchen errors

Yea its kinda a pain to do all the time. My work computer is slow so 7zipping it takes awhile because I normally have around 5-10 SYS's in my kitchen.

have you thought about storing the sys on a flash drive and import them as needed?

Yeah, that's what I do with all my kitchen stuff. I keep all my kitchens and, exts, oems, cabs etc... on my ext. hard drive except the one I'm working in at the moment.

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

I may have one more thing I can try. I did back up my OEM file a couple of weeks ago, so maybe that will fix it. I hope so cause I have a lot of stuff I would have to redo if I started a new kitchen...

Re: [Kitchen] WVGA Touch Pro 2 Collaboration

Hey Guys! Back in town and I ran in to a problem while on the road. I keep getting the #777 disconnect error randomly. I don't recall changing up my kitchen too much before I left but was wondering if any of you had been seeing this as a consistent issue and might know which package might be causing it. Using 23563 6.5.x

Yes. If I recall, depending on the error I have seen a few. One was the notorious Real WM 6.5 AKU checkbox and/or the number of packages. Another time it was a package itself. I converted a "TaskMgr wm2005-3.1" and got the real fast ROM creation which ends up not completing although it looks like it has. In the end, I had to extract a new kitchen but I tested all the mods in groups of about 10 to narrow down the culprit. Once I found it I rebuilt the kitchen and made a duplicate. I work in one and when I get to a substantial point I copy it for backup. Damn thing gets confusing after a while LOL
