First off thanks for the donation!

I know what you are referring to with the backlight coming on randomly (usually related to data activity) and it has been an issue on every WM device and every ROM I have ever used. It appears that this is "normal" behavior and I am unaware of anything that disables it.

Just for everyones info I also tried dumping an old Touch Pro (Raphael) rom with the Nascar Mobile app included (which was in cab form) and gave it a shot. It was still the same error as we have seen. I am not a big Nascar guy, but I feel for you guys who do watch and listen to it and all I can say is get on the horn with Sprint!

what about it is bugging you other than the screen turning on? is it that when you have it in your pocket you can start pocket dialing or launching programs when the screen comes on? if so, why not install an auto locking program for it like LockDevice, etc?

I have device lock installed and I couldn't figure out why when I leave out in the morning my battery is at 100%, but when I get to work it's at 93% or below. I found that when I'm on the subway the data kept going no data to 1x and waking my screen every time. My solution was to go into airplane mode until I get to work.

I love this rom however, if i have voice command on and i recieve a text msg or email while its sleep. it'll start saying the emal or text then stop. one i wake up the phone, it keeps reading where it left off...lol. Any ideas guys/girls/chris?

Sounds like sleep mode isn't preventing the voice notification until it has already begun... this might be something you will have to deal with. Try deactivating voice command, rebooting, then re-enable voice command. Also change the sleep time setting to a different time and see if that fixes it.

I have had no problems with this rom for the way i use my phone. We each use our phones differently and some will discover thing that others would never notice.

Start>Settings>All Settings>Personal>Voice Command

[Tap "Notifications" and be sure that it's checked off to "Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only."]

[Also highlight "Messaging" and then tap "Options" and be sure that Announce new messages & High Priority messages only are both checked]

Need some help. Every time I try to flash this onto my phone the install process results in a connection error. Have gone through all the steps and made sure that I'm following the on-screen instructions.

Did anyone else have this problem?

Also is there anyway to get these tweaks in a single cab format?

Is your phone unlocked? You must use the HardSPL unlocker for the CDMA Touch Pro 2 before flashing any custom ROM and can do by going here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93252
