I just right clicked and extracted it to a folder then ran the update that way. Did you try that? Is it in bootloader?

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)

Ok, I got the X button to close the program instead of just running it in background, but I think that it causing the program for the Drop down task manager to stop working right. =/

Anyway, I'll post what I got.

Install program and let device reboot afterward.

Then Go to Settings Tab > Menu > All Settings > System > X-Button.

There will be the settings you are familiar with.

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)

OK, tried this and it was Boring (as others have stated) I went back to Neodium 8 and flashed the radio with the latest version from this ROM (Huge thanks to whoever did that!!!) and now I am happy! I agree with previous posts that new radio appears to be much improved. Will wait for a new ROM built on this, hope someone has something on the stove for us!

You can try to unplug the device when you see it getting hung up in the process and then plugging it back in. It could possibly solve your issue.

Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)

Like the ROM for the most part, doesnt run as slow for me at least, Yes I agree the start menu is very messy and Im kinda disappointed that I had to install the fix for the clock flipping issue woulda thought that woulda been a definate given in the rom. But i guess all i can say is that they did finally release it......
