at least them disabling htc messaging doesn't break the favorite contacts tabs for assigning text faves. It opens up htc messaging, looks like the old one. I remember when people were manually disabling messaging with cooked ROMs, it would break random stuff.

Is it just me or the typing on the touch screen keyboard is much more accurate?

personally i prefer opera 9.5

heres a few more .cabs that im using and are working

1)bg4all=background for all tabs
2)cellguymods blue clock=a clock by cellguy
3)noweatheranimations=gets rid of the moving clouds,sun,etc.

This rom is so good, thats all im sayin! I never relized WM could work so well without that htc task thing BUT IT DOSE, IT WORKS SOMUCH BETTER it some how just works out on this rom. no need to X out of programs anymore.

You could try this to re enable HTC 2.5 Messaging.
Although I make no promises that it would work.
Try at your own risk.
Be prepared to hard reset if needed.

Anyway to show more appointments on the lock screen and on the home screen? Seems to only show one on each. I was using S2U2 before and I could set it to show the next 7 days I believe.

Also which percentage battery cab works with 6.5? I hate not knowing the true %. Thanks in advance.

Weather is on the home screen, go to the weather tab and configure it for My Location to be enabled....

Some other thread is saying it is not 6.5, yet that is what the HTC is calling it. I got about 1/3rd of it downloaded, is this "update" more Sprint/HTC BS, or is it worth playing with? :scratch:

This is definitely WM 6.5.. I think the thread(s) you are seeing are complaining about an updated version of WM 6.5 called WM 6.5.3.. Rest assured, this new ROM update is WM 6.5

you sprint guys finally got the 6.5 update lol. Verizon is getting the sense 2.5 update as well I wonder if they will remove htc messaging and the taskbar in the right corner.

how much better is the new sprint radio? can someone test out some bluetooth file transfers? on verizons new 6.5 radio it made the bluetooth file transfers extremely slower than the previous radio is this the same case with sprints new radio?

Hey guys sorry if this is obvious but I have tried to look for it all over the device... Seems like with classic WinMo settings being obscured at best, I can't set it to vibrate for new e-mails. Is there a way to get to the classic Settings area or will I have to poke around in the registry? Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Having access to the Windows Marketplace is nice now, don't have to search random locations for some of these programs I want. Though when I logged on it told me my facebook app was out of date. Anyone else get this?

Don't see why you can't download it to the phone, but you would need to extract the nbh file and change the name. Check out here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=95375

If you have access to a PC, easier to do from there.

if you don't have access to a computer, then yes you can flash from the microSD card.
