does anyone know what improvements there are with the updated Radio?

If i flashed back to the Sprint ROM and then flashed the Energy ROM, I would get the updated Radio correct?

Pass sum of that Captain over here while ur at it lol, but I think I sympathize with you a little bit, we patiently waited almost 6 months for this update, so a lot of ppl had high hopes for something incredible, but got a ROM that feels like they been using or used for months now right?

Yes, by flashing the stock sprint rom then another rom the new radio would stick but you could also flash the updated radio by itself and that would save some time from doing all that.

I had full bars in areas today that I normally wouldnt have with the older radio, but I want to flash a custom and put it to the test, hopefully it will eliminate that nagging problem where my phone would randomly switch from 3g to 1x

Are you going to call Mighty's next release a failure since he stated there won't be folder organization? It's not that hard to organize your own folders, seriously.

Not sure what most of the people in here expected from a stock ROM but most of the comments are quite amusing. I switched off Mighty's last 6.5/2.1 release to this new stock ROM and so far no issues. I tried Mighty's WAR 2 weeks ago and went back to his regular ROM. Once he releases his new 2.5 ROM in a few days I am sure I will end up using that instead of the new stock ROM, but really other than the typical bloat from a stock ROM this isn't that bad. Seems like people in here were expecting this to make their breakfast and do their job for them or something, its a stock ROM made for the majority of people who have the phone and are not on this site using custom ROM's or for whatever reasons do not use custom ROM's.

Side note...

Make sure you remove any ROM image files from the root of your SD card.. or you get a connection error and the phone completes the flash process.. just with image on the SD card. :(

Confused about what? Flashing this rom is no different than flashing any other rom. The only addition to this rom is the fact that it has a new radio as well so if you are using an unlocked radio then that would be gone and you can't use a local sim card anymore without flashing back to a previous radio.

Exactly! There is now a STABLE WP 6.5 and Sense 2.5 platform on which to build.

Now our fantastic chefs can cook up some even better, faster, cooler versions from this jumping off point!

So have the bluetooth issues been resolved with this ROM? Will it finally allow me to hang up my phone through my headset if data is enabled?

Something I noticed that might help others. After the debacle with still having a ROM image on the root of my SD card, I got a disconnected error in the installer.

I noticed that my taskbar was installing HTC USB device driver. I'm running Win 7 and have connected my phone several times with it. Just an FYI for those who may get the error "disconnected" when trying to flash. Check and see if it's installing the HTC USB drivers.

Not sure if this was put out yet but you can extract the .nbh image from .EXE's using PocketRAR. I do it all the time because i only flash from my phone. Works swimmingly!

is it taking anyone else forever to download now? I couldnt stay awake for it lol I was soooo tired so now Im trying to download and its taking forever and a day to download.....sad face.....

or any possible way to force it through to make it faster??

Good news, of course, is new stuff for the next round of kitchens!

This ROM feels like a more stable version of ones I used 4 to 6 months ago.

Microsoft has been smart enough to continually leak builds to get community testing and feedback. Too bad Sprint didn't take advantage of that.

Does anyone else seem to notice that hanging up/ending a call is working a lot better than in the past in any rom. Seems to take one press and within 1 second the call disconnects.

dont know where your getting your info but every ROM I have used from the Mighty one has GPS,Productivity,Settings, Home,Internet, System,Games, Multimedia and Widgets. I can make my own folders obviously but really, Sprint could have done a hell of a better job on that start menu. I mean if you want sh** just all over the place and not have any kinda organization, then this rom is for you. I mean I can understand if my kids organized this start menu but this is a billion dollar company that created this junk.
