I Don't know if you guys have checked this but for those of you who did Sprint Official WM6.5 after having a Custom Rom you can still add to it Max Manilla 3.0 and Bam you have an impossible to gauge phone. Will not slow your Phone down and if it does (which i doubt it will) it will be so insignificant you really wont notice. Attached Cab. Also if you go to Santod forum you can customize your clocks, sliders, fonts and so on...

Every time i try to install it on my TP2, i get a 107 txt msg error code..and it never installs. Does anyone know what i should do?

Are you using a custom rom? if you are first install stock http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91940

Then install update also you can try to do a hard reset first

has anyone tried to use the 2.23.00WU radio with the sprint 6.5 upgrade? since i flashed the radio, the phone has been SLOW even upon multiple hard resets.

The new "official" Sprint/HTC TP2 rom pales in comparison to what the great chefs on here have cooked up! Looking forward to new roms based off of this one.

I installed the new rom the day it came out and kept getting errors and it was crashing randomly. Hadn't installed anything extra on it or restored my files and it was wanting to send error reports to microsoft, lol. It seems better today since I restored my contacts, etc., through MyPhone, but the clock flipping to catch up to the right time is something that should have been fixed before this was an official release.

I'm spent. After screwing with this thing nonstop for the last three days, I've decided to let the experts mess with this stock ROM for a few weeks/months then see what they come up with.

I do like the ROM, but it becomes increasingly unstable with each additional program that is loaded onto it (the Tweaks/clean-up didn't help any either). 6.1 has been out for so long that a lot of good information is available. Hopefully, that will be the case for this ROM as well.

What I miss the most about 6.1 is my RAM. I had the tweaks so that I started off with 120mb and cleanRAM would consistently recover 20mg. I never got above 50% usage. Now, I only start off with 87mb and clean RAM is averaging 2mb recovery regardless of what version/settings I use, so I've abandoned that too.

Thanks rileyd5 for the RESET apps. That helps a great deal with one half of my issues!!! The other is battery life! With the MIGHTYROM, I was getting wonderful battery life but since I changed my ROM to the new Sprint 6.5, its been real horrible! If you or anyone out there has a fix or a cab file, please let me know.

I am struggling with activesync. It isnt working since I updated the phone to stock 6.5 for sprint. Does anyone have a fix for this issue?

I fought that too.
Leave it hooked to the computer. Then soft reset the phone. If that does not work. Then reset the computer. It work for me

I've been using the stock ROM w/o any issues since the 19th. What I am looking for is a better taskbar with colored icons. I have seen a few screen captures in this board and in the software area, but I haven't seen any attached files.

Also, how do I get to the > settings > today page to change themes and the such on the stock ROM. Has it been setup differently in the 6.5 ROM?

If someone could point me in the right direction .... Thanks in advance!

not as fast as my last rom that had sense UI running 6.1 though. But i will take this and play with it for a while until WM7 comes out

Here you go. This will fix the notification light issue. After installing and soft reset, you can now adjust the time. I have it set to 5 minutes now and it works. Thanks to Mr. X for the cab :headbang:

Ok I am not done with reading this whole thread but I liked the task manager up top. And what do you guys mean it dsisabled HTC messaging? What does it have now? One think I liked before was and only on text but it popped up a window and said text message sent. I work with nto so good of a signal and now I don't know how to tell if it sent or not. I have to go look in my sent folder. I know it will say in red if not sent but I liked the message sent pop up. I also want my transparent slider and clock back all my old stuff doesn't work. I had an all backgrounds tab and no curtains and neon icons... But I do like 6.5 it's cool.. I just want to be able to see my background more. I want a transparent clock like I had before. I'll search around here more after reading this thread. Rose

Thanks for posting that I was wanting it. I am on page 16 of this 99 page thread... I had a cool neon icons with transparent slider and all backgrounds tab and a cool transparent clock that I loved. None work so hopefully I'll find new stuff here.. But I had the task manager as a shortcut on my today screen and didn't like that. Thanks, Rose

What is the no weather animations tab? I did notice on my weather whe it showed rain there no wiper going across screen does this bring those animations back or does it get rid opf animations? And where can I get a transparent clock at my old one don't work? I know there's 99 pages here I'll keep reading for a bit. Ok I got the all backgrounds tab from here like page 15 or 16 and it didn't work. Is it cause I have themes set up and my background is some animated one that came with the phone. Rose

Edit: Ok I chose a wallpaper from the weather folder and not the animated folder and it worked now but when you go to calendar you still see black when in certain screens maybe it's suppose to be like that. But I am glad I have it working.

TO get to the today settings, slide all the way to the right to the settings tab, click the lower right softkey for "menu" then click all settings and you will find the icon for today.

For the task bar, back all the way out of this forum until you get to the list of forums where you click on the link for this one. Now click on the little paper clip just to the right of the title for this thread and look for the tsowentaskbar cab.

Does this also give the option to have it shut off completely, so the LED never flashes for new messages?

I ussed to have this neon tabs at the bottom on 6.1 is there something like that for 6.5? I know he was asking for colored icons I need something different too. I had a cool transparent flip clock too but I got this one posted on this site stock transparent clock which is better then what I had. I got rid of my curtains and panel and got a transparent slider.. Now I can see my background better.. What is scroll curtain cab? I wasn't sure what transparent quicklink was cause mine looke dtransparent already but I see it got rid of some of the shortcuts and shows 2 quick links now instead of 3 and 4 when clock is flipped instead of 6 so that's cool I'll keep that. Just wasn't sure about scroll curtain cab. Anymore clocks around anywhere? But thanks for whoever made these cabs. I was compalining how you couldn't really see your background then I found this thread. Rose

Yea I agree I think sprint must have rushed this out the door a little. One of my favorite touches of the old stock rom was the Sprint name plus colored logo on top right of the manila home tab. Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter that much to me since ill end up on a custom rom eventually anyway.

Yes, I most definitely will not stay on stock rom since they didn't cook in the htc task manager into the top bar. Also since sprint still refuses to unlock the fm radio, those jerks.

ha duh didnt think to look there, i had dl a cab sumone posted on here but it was for diamond so it wasnt wvga, took up a quarter of screen, thought i was gonna have to live with that haha, thnx again man

Is there a 16 quicklink cab that works for the new Sprint rom? I tried Santod's and my background went all white. Couldn't change wallpaper or anything so I removed it. have'nt been able to find a 16 link cab yet that works on this rom. Any help here??? :(

weird that is the one Im using on mine without any issue, reinstall or uninstall and reinstall it...

worked right off the bat with me on both of the phones here so I cant duplicate to figure out a fix for ya

the white background is normal. what you need to do after installation is go to settings tab>personalize>home tab wallpaper>animated wallpaper. you will see static and lightning bolt thumbnail. pick static for bg4all wallpaper without weather animations and lightning bolt for bg4all with weather animations. After selected one of the two, immediately go back in and select weather wallpaper this time, and pick your wallpaper, it should take about 20 seconds or so to initiate. Hope this helps.
