there are 3 options.

1. install hq wallpapers made by hdwall.
2. use rom theme changer under utilities tweaks
3. or install patch i posted before...i think its in post #4.

i wouldnt recomend using the theme changer cab from post 4. Dont get me wrong it works great and is a great cab for some situations but if u change the theme using the method: Utilities-Tweaks-Theme Select,and then change the theme that way. then it will change the theme on all the homescreen tabs. If u use the cab from post 4 it only changes the home homescreen and not the rest of the tabs backgrounds, but everybody has their own opinion of what they like their device to look like.and thats just my opinion. but if u want say the weather tab page to have the best looking weather animations possible then its probably best to use the cab from post 4. then the weather background tab page is all black except for the weather animations and they tend to look beter with an all black background. i just prefer all my tabs to have the same background as the homepage.
ive been using 10.1 since last nite and so far its excellent. The only thing im still a little unsure of is the removal of the Widgets folder from the Connections folder. I liked to install my Omarket(Opnmarket) app and Windows Marketplace app and occasionally a few others into the widgets folder. That way they were tucked away nice and neat and still very easy to access.but its really not a big deal without the widgets folder.
The only problem ive had at all was my device froze twice when i went to End All Tasks in the new Task Manager.but both times i had at least 4 or more tasks open at the time.but if i close them one at a time then no problem, and its only happened twice out of about 15-20 times using the End All Tasks.
I did have to install the cab to get my texts to send directly from the contact card tho. Is that no longer cooked into the rom? Its really no big deal because of the ease of installing it via the cab.
Overall great rom. Even better than V9 in my opinion. Especially in the amount of extra memory. I hav at least an extra 15mb-20mb more free memory than i ever had before on V9 or any previous release. I just need to get used to the new Task Mngr, which hasnt frozen up on me since last night.and ive tried to freeze it today by opening about 6 or 7 apps and then selecting End All Tasks and havent frozen it yet today. I think it just probably needed a cpl soft resets after i installed all my cabs, but its working good so far.
I have noticed that some things like Quick GPS seem to load alot faster and certain other apps open faster and ive even noticed a slight increase in the speed of the internet over the EVDO connection. Things like google maps and bings gps seem to lock faster as well. And the lower slider is a rocket now. It can follow my finger almost as fast as i can move it across the icons. Its even faster than before.i didnt think that was even possible. V10.1 is definetly one of the best leaps forward in the Bhars rom T.Pro2 CDMA series.I would recomend V10.1 to anybody and everybody who wants an excellent,stable/reliable,semi-loaded,business perfect,and all around great rom no matter what u use ur phone for.
Also if u want an arcade on ur phone then uve got to try the Ruppy Super Arcade. Its available,or used to be available, on Mightys Rom thread.Its Mighty Arcade cab.But its called the Ruppy Super Arcade in my devices remove programs list and its labeled as; Touch Pro Mega Arcade V2.1 cab. on my memory card. Its definetly a nice addition to the games folder and its nice because all the games automatically install to the games folder already.I know the games are just VGA but they are still fun and even include a few classics.
well ive only just begun to play with V10.1 so over the next cpl days if i notice any problems or bugs ill be sure to post what i find, but so far the rom is by far the best yet. Bravo, just when i thought a windows based rom couldnt get better u go and introduce 10.1 which is even noticeably better,faster,and more stable than V9. I cant wait for the next release now,especially since it sounds like ur playing around in a new kitchen as well. The roms just keep getting better. Im really glad ur not just churning over virtually the same rom and calling it new.Because 10.1 is awesome.

The only thing im still a little unsure of is the removal of the Widgets folder from the Connections folder.

Create a folder named "Widgets" under Connections folder using totalcommander or file explorer. You will get the folder back with icons.... I deleted MS widgets, as it can be installed from Marketplace if needed.

Finding a taskmanager is a tough one. I tried everything out there, and they all eat up RAM. I am thinking of going back to the X1 TaskManager, as it is lean, and real efficient!

The roms just keep getting better. Im really glad ur not just churning over virtually the same rom and calling it new.Because 10.1 is awesome.

WOW, nice ROM man. Provisioning "sticks", speed and memory are absolutely stellar! Does anyone know how hard of a hit CHT will make on speed and memory with this rom? Not sure if I want to mess with it or not? But do love CHT...would love to see a version of this rom with it cooked in! Hey I can dream can't I? Thanks again, great ROM!

I am not sure about CHT. It just sucks the juice out of the ROM. You can try it, but I am guessing you will loose about 8 to 10MB of free RAM.

Yeah, think I'll try to live without it for a bit. One glitch I noticed. When adding an appointment the pop-up calendar does not work, pressing the date does nothing. This is an issue in all the latest energy roms as well. He has a cab to fix this, I ran it and works on yours as well. Minor but a bug none the less.... Maybe a fix in v11 . Thanks again man, really diggin the ROM.
