anyone know how to get rid of that annoying "mms msg recieved?" i know the disablew sent sms is cooked in, but now in its place is the same time of big annoying gray box at the bottom of the screen for incoming mms and like the sent sms, u cant even get rid of it, u just have to wait til it goes away on its own after about 5 sec...very annoying. anyone got a fix?

LOL.......go into sounds and notifications and uncheck the box for "display message on screen"....you also do not have to wait for it to go away....you have options from the menu....

Is there a way to disable the accelerometer only in the dialer? It really causes my phone to lock up and slow down

OK -- did a hard reset and started over with Mr.X ROM and no Cookie Home Tab. I'm getting less memory usage -- about 5-7MB less. But the "leak rate" is about the same for me. I've been running since last night and I've got ~45M free with no programs open.

Ran CleanRAM Level 3 and got another 5MB free so now I'm at 50MB. Still, that's a lot less than the 76.5MB I have free after settling in from a soft-reboot with all my stuff installed/configured.

Despite the memory challenges, the Mr.X ROM is still running fast and I haven't experienced any memory errors or crashes yet.

I have a lot of Outlook data: Nearly 800 contacts and a hundred tasks plus a few weeks of appts -- wonder if that has anything to do with my memory issues? Either that, or my corp exchange and encryption?!

When trying to end a call and i have my phone sideways it gives me the black screen of death for a few minutes. Any way to disable it?

That is the key....memory is being cached on these builds so as long as you are not getting out of memory errors......really no need to worry...

Also when running clean ram open the config and go to menu/advancedGUI....enable HTC Sense......after enabling that it will give you back more than 5mbs.......hope that helps

Thanks for the CleanRAM advancedGUI tip -- slows the scrubbing process as it shuts-down and re-boots Sense, but definitely works!

i gotcha, unzip and move manila file to windows/softreset. this ss is just one. left juggs rom stock so you get a good look at both notification and clock tweaks.
