I threw my phone in the toilet and gave it a swirly. Then, I kicked it out on Michigan St and watched a few cars run over it. Youtube works flawlessly, now.

Last night, around midnight, I fell asleep. I dreamed a fat spotty chick was riding on my shoulders and woke up choking on my own vomit. Picked up phone and tried Youtube. Ok, before flashing back to 2/18 ROM, I did a Sprite backup. I did the flash dance. I then flashed to 2/18. I did a Sprite restore, from the 3/03 ROM backup (because I updated some apps and I was just curious). First run of Youtube works, in full screen and with audio. WIFI works with WPA2-AES and MAC Address filtering. So far so good.

Edit: Noticed something buggy in SPB contacts and went to uninstall it. There were no apps in remove programs list, aside from Sprint provisioning. I think Sprite backup has become unreliable with this phone.

are you using the R2 or R6 version? I'm using the R2 version and I just started having Youtube issues today. Cabs and mods have been the same since the hour I flashed. Not a huge issue for me but it would be nice to have it working correctly.

I was using R6...right now running bare bones to test...

Ok, I'm gonna uninstall R2, see how things work then try R6. We'll beat this POS

EDIT: So I uninstalled hometab mods (r2) and soft-reset, same issue with youtube. My problem isn't no sound but rather youtube loads and I can select a video but then it just hangs up. I have to soft reset to get back to a working system.

This isn't a complaint, just my addition to our diagnosis thus far...

EDIT2: Soft reset again and now youtube worked flawlessly for 2 videos. Tried another few videos and youtube started hanging again...

flyers can you post your version? I already have one DL'ed but would like to test your cab.

Tried to troubleshoot this last night by process of elimination but could not find the answer - inconsistent Youtube problems no matter whether I had any mods installed or not. Tough one to crack but thanks to all for digging into it - may be deeper than mods causing it if nothing changed on the Youtube app from previous build.
