1) i tried and it happens on both, to get that error you have to use the swype keyboard at least once ,although it says its on swype when you first start the onscreen keyboard, it is actually on the small keyboard. So activate the keyboard(in any app like sms) and switch to swype(click on swype - although its already checked). Once you see the actual swype keyboard you will see the error - and after that -each reboot you will get the error as well as each time you activate swype that way. Whats worse is swype does not work properly - its suppose to type words as you draw a line from letter to letter(without lifting the finger/stilys)) and it only works if you click each letter individually(making it a regular and not swype keyboard)

2) if you have to drop some apps i would vote for extra games(besides the regular ones like teeter(sp?), rest of the apps you got on the ROM are great and quite useful.

I need some help.
I did the flash dance, and after installing this rom, it freezes on me.
There's nothing I can do.
i tap something and it freezes, I can't even get an Active Sync connection to flash back to stock!!!
Can somebody help? my phone has been rendered useless now

Put the phone in bootloader mode:
1. remove back cover
2. Press all at the same time: Power+VolumeDown+Reset

And flash away!

Were program icons (advanced config, auto volume, clear storage, etc) sacrificed for space? Some do show, (Error Reporting, About, External GPS) but many don't after flash on both versions. Am I missing something?

Also, is there a way to preserve the ~135 MB free after syncing with Mobile Device Center by re-locating default Outlook folders, and internet cache to the SD card without affecting all your work?

Hey rstoyguy,

I don't know what it is, but the new version (rstg_tp2_MS353_23541G_05) doesn't seem to show certain items in my call history by selecting the "missed call" icon from the home screen. Items that are missing will be the phone numbers, the avators for people who don't have pictures assigned to their numbers, and whether if the call was outgoing, incoming, or missed. The only thing that shows up are pictures, dates, and times.

On the older version (rstg_tp2_23541G_MS353_04b) everything is perfect!! Is there any reason for that?
