the other issue is that some appts just don't show up at all on the phone calendar.
(for this one, it doesn't show on my PI8 nor Formula's Agenda, but strangely shows on Formula's 30day calendar...)

i also had a minor sound issue but have to see a little further bef reporting to u all.

Yes, i "flash-danced" by going to the stock ROM and flashing back to this rom.
-& btw, this happened w formula's ...40 rom also.
-im on sprint.

thanks for your help.
maybe a 235xx bug? i have not seen this behavior before but you could try the new release cumming soon. Question how are you restoring your pim data?

Here is the latest Beta, 23554. This was put together using RiadZero's Kitchen as a base and has improved performance and ram. Page Pool is set to 8MB and I have tested this config and like the results so far, so I would suggest leaving this way. If you don't get carrier select at boot try going to Start -> Tools -> Carrier Provisioning. Please post your relests and feedback. p.s I reduced the professional screens from3 to 1 but left the config for the 3 in place so you can enable the 3 pages from settings and the widget layout will be restored... came down to these look nice but rarely use and disabling them saves a few MB of ram.

Generic / Carrier Select at Boot.

Looking forward for this update.
I got a question.
I've downloaded previous update, and it is missing Sprint TeleNav and woundering if it is possible to get a cab for it. It is the only working TeleNav I have seen lately and sure would be appriciated to get a copy of it.

Thanks in advance.
Paul.

Sir you just made my weekend! I take it the standard MS build is just plain vanilla mobileshell?

Hope your party was great! Thanks man!

Re: {ROM}{23540/6.5.5}{3/13}Formula's SPB MobileSense & Titanium {23547 Stock&Custom

Just a quick status report. Installed Ok and haven't had any lockups yet.

I did have the 'authentication' problem with Verizon once I re-programmed. Had to call tech support and they eventually got me back online.

I Hate the default dialer installed, and usually go to CMYLYXGO's Black Dialer. Could not get that one installed. Ended up fighting that for a while and I THINK I have CMH Black Canvas with CMYLXGO's XL Inverted Dial pad. I had a lot of trouble here, so there's no telling what I have mixed and matched

Just realized search widget is defaulting to IE rather than opera. I will need to change that.

Memory usage appears to be about the same as before. No weird memory drops yet though.

Before upgrading, I used the 'Backup Settings' in MS and I exported the REG tree. When I restored, the Restore settings function did not work, but deleting the Reg Tree and importing my old one did restore all of my screens.
One interesting problem there though is that I use a lot of Contact shortcuts on my homescreen. It doesn't put them back with the same people/order.

On Communications Manager, the Bluetooth switch works of course, but I would like if I pressed the Bluetooth Icon that it would launch the Bluetooth Control panel for adding/removing devices. Is there an updated/older version of the Comm Manager that does this? I'm pretty sure It worked this way with other ROMs I have used.

is there a way to integrate touch weather into mobile shell. I have it installed but have to press on icon to get weather. Is there a way to get spb shell weather to be the touch weather? Thank you

That is an awesome idea. but even their own weather doesn't integrate very well with mobile shell.

I have only had one issue with the rom so far. The internet connection seemed to have issues, but on the username/password dialogue that eventually pulled up i just clicked save password and its been fine since. Configuring all my stuff the way i like it was very smooth. No errors. So far mem is really good. The device storage is about the same but it works good as long as you install everything besides the basics nav etc on the storage card.

So far sound is working good too! I take it this is a completely different build of rom? Its not from caulkin anymore eh?

yeah the rom is running great for me. With everything loaded I start up in the 60s in memory. With use it consistantly drops down to around 42 mb of free memory. Any idea why this is? Thanks for the rom Formula

This has been the case for 235xx builds, even without ms and just using titanium ill drop about 20mb with normal usage over the course of a day. It must be caching for performance or something. I was even trying raidzero's titanium rom and while it was yielding about 10mb more in ram it too had the memory loss over time.

This is still built using Calks kitchen, i am trying to get use to raidzero's with adding all my customizations to it to see if i can get the extra 10mb of ram...
