Re: {ROM}{23557|6.5.5}{4/14}Formula's SPB MobileSense{Loaded/Baseline\Standard}Generi

I'm seeing an issue when I create a new text and start typing the name of the contact. usually the more letters you type, the less people show. but it seems to stop recognizing the contacts after the first letter.

anyone else see this?

I'm also noticing that on a fresh boot, I have a little over 90MB free. then over the course of a day I'm down around 75.

I am on my test 23563 build and have not change much accept the base and i do not have the issue you discribe. No matter how many letters i type backspace it still sticks.

With regards to ram this is normal, having xtask really makes you aware of ram usage, i love it. Check this out, fresh boot you get you number. Then let your lockscreen lunch the first time bam goes 5-7mb, next slide ur keyboard out to rotate you display bam there goes another almost 10mb. Then add in your cache thats builds over time of using your phone. I can easily reproduce this on almost any rom, thats why with using Raid's setup getting that extra 10-15mb meant so much to me to switch my whole kitchen over was worth it. With most titanium roms i would start at about 100mb but eventually slip to 80 without anything running, using mine you should start at 110-115 free with just titanium.

I saw a discussion in calkulins kitchen thread about dropping titanium from the build. I tried it and it didn't work for me, but I have so little time to play and so much to learn, that it may have just been me.
Have you thought about dropping Titanium completely since this is based on MS?

I would highly doubt that dropping it at build vs just disabling through settings is any different. I will try it and compare, although I like having it. Sometimes I find myself closing out of Mobile Shell and just running titanium every now and then.

Thanks Formula. I'll have do a flash dance and see what comes of the name resolution issue. I'll hold for the next build on that though, or maybe run the stock Sprint rom for a couple days.

It sucks that that you just keep loosing memory throughout the day. I guess Microsoft figured they would make windows mobile just like full windows- needs a daily restart!

+1. When I type in a name for the text message the phone number would not appear, but as I deleted characters from the name the contact info would populate.

I also found another issue. When I answer a call while the phone is locked, I don't have a way of bring up the number pad. I had to reply to a prompt to press 1 but could not find a way to do it. Anyone have this problem?
