PC recognizes the phone, I can do active sync, or disk drive with no problem. So it's not a driver issue.

Update PRL? Why? Data works on the phone.
PS: I do run the latest PRL for my area (btw) but it has nothing to do with this problem.

Sounds to me like the "data" is not on.

Also, go to menu/connection settings in the "internet sharing" app,
Then go to "advanced" tab on bottom to see link for "select networks",
to see that they both (or at least top one) show the carrier you are on..

Might be a silly question but how do you install the latest 12/29 Pluto? Unlike the other versions, there is only one file in the folder.

Thanks for your help guys. I already checked Networked management settings and both drop down options have Cricket. Though I double checked just in case. Data is on. I can tether via WiFi router.

You drop the file on your Micro-SD card in root directory. Then startup in the bootloader and load from there. I believe the first post has instructions.
