thanx again for the great rom, just donated for ya hope it helps you. Also Ive been trying the weather update and couldnt find the string weather.autoupdateinterval so i added it and rebootedstill doesnt seemto work. any help? iflashed the 1.1b as soon as it cameout.

Someone heard the default email ringtone on this and loved it and absolutely had to have it. I was pleased to discover that MMS was all setup so that all I had to do was find and attach the file to a text message in order to send it to him. I don't normally bother with MMS, but it was nice to have it just work the one time I needed it. Any other ROM and he would have been out of luck.

Yes I see this problem too, the ring+vibrate at same time setting does NOT stick. Very strange...

Yes, alot of times doesn't show up for me either and I know I clicked the correct place because there are other times when it does come up.

I have a problem with the latest rom.. whenever I try to open an email it goes back and forth to the today tab and email tab before opening outlook. Anyone else having this problem?
I did try a hard reset.

Yes with Opera 10 problems- extremely laggy and wouldn't do what I thought I was telling it to. A few posts back are a couple of cabs for a tweaked 9.5 cab and a 9.7 cab. I installed the 9.5 with no issues whatsover- works good.

Mal, I know there was some discussion on this thread regarding the updating rate for the weather on the main page - well, it looks like the issue has been solved! Take a look at the following post:

I guess some simple reg-edits allow you to set the updating time scedule for the weather. I'm using 30min personally. Might be worth cooking into the next ROM update =)

UPDATE: Nvm, I see you already have it on the front page. One step ahead of me =P

Yea im having the same issue here. I just installed the 9.7 cab from a few posts back and its working fine. automatically replaces 10 as the default browser in manila.

Anyone else notice when using the lock device program that occasionally when sliding to the left or right to unlock the slider lock icon freezes on either side and the screen doesn't go away (you actually have to touch the icon again for the screen to unlock)? Kinda annoying and wondering if there is some sort of fix out there. Thanks.

Mal,

I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this but 2x now on the 1.1b Final rom I have had an issue where the UI becomes non-responsive and I am unable to power down the phone. When I pull the batter and turn the phone back on, it has hard reset. This happened to me last night and again today.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, custom taskbar will mess up; no there is no .cab for HTC volume control, sorry.

You could try! Let us know. I don't think Verizon and Sprint are all too different. You may also need to remap the KB though as it's different I think.

Thanks for the donation. I haven't tried the weather update hack myself, will look into it, though it seems like others have tried it and it works.

No, it conflicts with the Task Manager and really didn't seem to serve a purpose with the WM6.5.x notification bar--was just too much popping down up there.

I did try a hard reset.
This is a side-effect I think of some the speed tweaks. You may want to try and disable GfxBoost under Settings --> System to see if that helps.

Opera 10 is fine. What I bet you're doing is launching it for the first time from the Internet Tab in TouchFLO, right?

Don't do that, lol. Soft-reset and launch it from the Start Menu, hit "agree" and it'll be fine. You can now launch from the Internet Tab, you'll just get the "local host" message, no biggy.

Not off the top of my head as I've never experienced that--perhaps it's a software conflict. Have you flashed with the latest HardSPL (v3)? Sometimes that can help.

No, you still have to add it. Will look into building that into future versions though ;-)

Hey Malatesta (or anyone for that matter haha),

Still trying to get tapping on a message in the messages tab to take me to manila as per stock rather than the WM app with no luck. I've tried searching but it's hard to narrow down what I'm looking for to an efficient couple of words to search with. Anything else to try?

I just thought I'd add....I'd been avoiding 6.5.x ROMS because I just couldn't stand the extra clutter on the bottom of the screen. I took another posters advice and gave this ROM a try...Man am I glad I did. This thing is smooth. I really like it alot.

My goodness the volume levels on this ROM are incredibly loud!

What tweaks were done exactly to attain this? I can only imagine what your 6.5 ROMs were like!

Combo of AudioPara and registry attenuation adjustments.

I had some non-publicly released 6.5 ROMs--they were basically the same. I like 6.5.3 better though.

Hate to keep bugging you about this but i've seen you online a couple times and posted a couple times and it's still unanswered. I would like tapping on a message in the messages tab to take me to manila not the WM app, can you help me out?

Extract this file and copy to \Windows. Make sure Sense 2.1 is disabled first and then restart. Hopefully that will restore it. If not, I may have another file.

Glad you like them.

I can certainly add Sprint Navigation to the ROM, no issue there. But I was trying to save space/I don't really use it. I think there should be a .cab file of it laying around allowing you to just install it (though I don't know about the Manila integration).

If enough people ask for it/you can't find a .cab, I'll see about adding it on the next release.

I would love to have sprint navigation in the rom!! I use the cab but would love to have it integrated! Bye the way is there a way to get more ringtones installed in this rom is their a cab I can get I liked the stock HTC ringtones. Thanks

I tried to load the whole file on main memory, but while transferring thru windows mobile media center thingy..it says that the file "setup.xml" cannot be accessed on the device. Please help

Hey Mal! I'd love to test the Titanium version on Verizon for you. I have the keyboard fix already, and I thought the Arcsoft MMS fix was for Manila only, so I don't think I will need that. Any other advice before I flash it?

it should be the last 4 digits of your telephone number.. or you can just go to http://signin.telenav.com/tnsso/sso/remindPin.do type your number in and get your pin
