Thats because they are written in the registry.
open a reg editor and do a search.
you can simply delete the reg keys, or rename to other links.

Can you please show me where in the registry. I've tried so many roms and i'm coming back to this one but i really need those bookmarks changed. That's my only issue with this rom, apart from that it's perfect. I'd appreciate your help, thanks.

Wow ver nice rom clean fast just 2 questions why Disable Manila SMS; use default WM version in Sense 2.1.

and the verizon keyboard cab is same as always doesnt work, I have learned how to deal with keyboard not going away right of way, is that what the fix is for?

If it is it does it in almost all roms well 6.5 ones , and I havent found a fix yet.

Anyonne have an issue with the htc music tab in 2.5? It always looses my music and has to search for albums often...

Ok it seems that after a soft reset the music tab can find my music. When I am done playing and dont use the phone for a bit and come back to the music tab it no longer knows what mp3's I have on the phone/storage card and starts a never ending search for music. The only way to fix this is to softreset.....

Bug finally came up after running this ROM for a week or so - texts won't send. They show as sending fine via manila... but they never make it out.

That and MMS doesn't work at all on Sprint. Ah well, not a bad rom to use while calkulin gets a new kitchen out

well like i said last night rock solid, best that i can say, had a lil problem, my fault had to call verizon to get phone verfide. butt on mms i can use either verizon or sprint does it matter? the best thing about this rom is the email( every one that has hot mail/msn like me could not download anyhting over a 1MB If I by pass msn live and just set up my msn account I can download 5MB and more, verizone blamed it on msn Microsoft Blamed it on msn,______________NOT MSN as this rom kicks ****ing as on stock and does what I paid for. Looks like I will be looking at a little donation for the only rom that has been able to fix that.:headbang: Its been 26hrs of non stop use testing well i slept for 4 hrs but i am so amaze, been trying to get this thing to lock up or somthing:) hum cant.

Back to my first question I was playing around with mms and was switching back and fourth from sprint to verizon some how i was getting duplicates then carries disapiering, should i use stock setng as they work sprint even though I am a verizon customer? Shit i talked my as off here loma.If I helped any 1 hit thanks It would be my first.

HTC messaging doesn't work with Sprint. You have to disable it and use arcsoft. If you remove any thing you may have installed to fix this, (if any), then just install the attached cab and soft reset. Everything will work.

malatesta busy with that mobile world congress this week so outlook not so good. he needs to put bac slider sounds tap and new google map 4.0.

I don't really care for the new manila build as much as I do the new windows build. 23529 was solid and I'm assuming 23534 is even more so.

Hey guys!
This is my first post but I have been testing many ROMs behind the stage http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

My curiosity was to make IGOs TTS working on ROMs that I have been tested. So found out so far MaLROM, ENERGYROM LEO and MightyROM doesn't require any scrip to run to clear up the space disable SENCE in order to run IGO with TTS! So this is not about the space it is something in the Rom that makes TTS working properly. So that’s why I chose this Rom and it is performing very well so far!
But I do have a wish list if Malatoka will take consideration and implement these futures in the rom.
So far in my testing I found bug in themes. if you ever change the themes some, themes doesn’t work properly and u may end up and hard reset the phone in order to get default settings or if u have previously backed up your Rom to restore.

SKYFIRE is must! I love this app more then any browser is out there. I personally don’t use IE and Opera.
I request is if you can change the TASKBAR icons and make it fancier like Cricket Rom has or EnertyROM Leo and some others. I tried to install custom taskbar cab and it is not working properly. Volume control slider screws up and other issues so it has to be implemented during cooking.
I have not tested MMS and some other stuff but so far I love your Rom.
So the Rom is almost there to make a donation.

i'd love to see an update to this rom beyond a sense version change. i use titanium anyway, so meh to that
i wish more chefs made 6.5.3 (6.6?) roms. i've tried myself and i know it's not easy to create quality work, so i commend these chefs

only taskbar i use but in juggs 2.5 rom thread thers other tbs posted, not sure if volume fix is in them though. use the paperclip after rom titles to see other tbs posted.

Hi Mal,

Any news to update a 6.5+2.5 ROM?

I have been using your 6.5+2.1 ROM for quite some time. Great ROM, very stable, and decent battery life (I feel even better than stock ROM). And a big pro to me is that iGO TTS works out of box!

One minor issue of soft keyboard: the letter hint when you type does not pop up.

Personally I prefer 6.5 than 6.5.X because some application's toolbar is blocked by 6.5.X menu(for example, resco explorer). But 2.5 is also very nice. So eager to see a combination of 6.5 +latest 2.5.

I know you are busy, so I am not try to push you or anything. Just wish you could remember to come back when you get a chance.

BTW, anyone who need the keyboard hint pop out when type, you only need to reinstall EZInput.
For example: Freeza's bare naked ROM has one oem EZInput. And this works flawless on MalROM. (And thanks to Freeza as well).

It's not in the registry. You only need to overwrite the opera6.adr file under
\Windows\Opera9

Copy this file to your PC using ActiveSync or whatever, then edit it on your pc and then copy it back. You can also edit directly on your phone and it's very simple. BTW, I am using MalROM 6.5 +Sense 2.1 if that matters.

For example, my opera6.adr content is like this:

Opera Hotlist version 2.0
Options: encoding = utf8, version=3

If you don't mind using Opera 9.5, you may install Opera 9.5 to replace Opera 10. Personally I don't like Opera 10.

Check the following registry item:
HKLM\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
item 1 should point to \Windows\OperaL.exe or wherever your Opera 9.7 is.

And also don't forget
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila
DefaultBrowserIsIE set to 0.

I have set Opera 9.5 as my default browser.

I hate new task manger as well. And i reverted to Manila 2.1 ROM because of that. Also do you have the issue that incoming call does not ring?
