.1 = uscc 6.5 base, .2 = verizon 6.5 base, some say the verizon base and kernel is better, either way its newer

6.5.3? sure why not, i'm not a big fan of it bug cooking with the VK is simple, not too sure what extra mods have to made to make it all work with the bottom taskbar button thing so u guys will have to test it and let me know whats wrong

downloading right now and i'll check it out. as far as the customization that sounds good, however the only thing im typically not big on is start menu icons, i like the original, if it's possible that you dont' change the name, so that ppl can extract the original ones and replace the customs one that would be cool. other then that i organize everything in folders and stuff and add some not too flashy icons to the folders to make it look nice

the verizon kernel was introduced on the 012 version based on the changelog, any version prior to 012 utilized the uscc base so you should be good to try 011, or download the kitchen for 012 and change the base back to uscc if u like

here you go, there's also a couple of icons that are duplicates but i use them in the start menu for folders such as System, Utilities and 1 for Oxios Close Apps

The verizon kernel was introduced on the 012 version based on the changelog...

My first TP2 rom flash was the 012version which last me 20 hours average use, so I think its great and goes to show that battey drain has more to do with what chef cooks, than the build.

so far im loving the new updated roms tommy...its the most free memory ive had yet on a 2.5 rom sitting at over 104MB

if by vr u mean vk? i use ervius visual kitchen 1.8.1, i wasnt too sure what pagepool silence has been cooking so i left it at the stock vk's setting of only 6mb, i know it seems really low but i have not noticed any downsides to the performance, have u guys? all i notice is extra ram available which is a big plus after loading the huge memory hog of opera beta2u that it is, ill probably raise the pp to 12mb next round to see what it does though, i'm having some difficulty cooking a 23518 build, i keep getting some error, even with everything disabled just a plain sys, tried 2 different sys builds of 23518, ill try another now

*edit........oh.......vr? u mean version right? i've been running hdfl.2 all day, but just recently flashed to the 6.5.x build to see if it worked, im coming back to hdfl.2 for now and getting back to work on my custom rom

alright guys, u asked and you shall receive, this is my first ever rom i've tried cooking (that successfully flashes) based on any of the 6.5.x builds so please consider this one a purely experimental rom as it is in test condition. i had a lot of difficulty getting the sys to work with the 100% silence kitchen so i had to use about 20% of another kitchen to do this, but it still seems like a silencerom to me, i will continue later to get this fully cooked in a 100% kitchen eventually but for now, enjoy

Warning

Keep an eye on your battery, it appears this version is missing something as my phone wasn't charging and reported 100% batter in the taskbar but 0% battery in the control panel, there may be many other bugs too until i get this fully cooked in the silence kitchen.

I would not suggest you take this rom out of the house, the previous ones are much more stable.

Everything else should be the same as HDFL except for the part that I built this in a visual kitchen based off of silence's HDFL kitchen so please let me know if anything is majorly different, good or bad

theres a registry for this (cant remember off the top of my head), or u can goto settings, personalize, home tab wallpaper, choose animated wallpaper, the click album, my device, my wallpapers, choose a regular wallpaper and u should have no more animations

update: i reflashed this morning with 12 pp and i has a bit more snappiness than the 6 , and still over 100 MB free at boot ,, may try 16 next

i cannot complain this room is very good. I love it. this rom is great for sprint users too.
