@wonka, that link you gave doesn't work for 235xx roms, I tried, and who is using htc task manager with this com branch? I haven't seen anybody.

smiznith has HTC task manager running on 6.5.X in his IceyROM, there's a screenshot on the main page.

Dibbson, I dont know what you did but for the first time ever my weather location at my home is correct, I live in Arnold, for some time now its always said I live in Rock, wherever that is, not near me. Thanks!!

I don't know what i did either, unless something changed on one of your cell towers?.... Or you ran the sprint 6.5 update just to get the newer radio.

impact has htc taskman also. it was just an fyi, bc i know u arnt crazy about x2. i am fine with it though. excited to see what u can take from new sprint rom!

energy roms use the htc taskmanager as well...

What exactly does upgrading the radio accomplish Dibbs (reception, signal strength issues)? I know it is supposed to be beneficial, just don't know why. Thanks.

To be honest, I haven't noticed anything significant from upgrading the radio yet. I was hoping it would increase location data, but so far the VZ 2.23 radio is the most accurate. I have not used it on my sprint tp2 (don't ask me why..., but there is a reason), only the VZ one. But the VZ radio does get a more accurate reading.

EDIT: to all those that like the htc taskmanager, even though it will work with these builds, it still won't close on X because that taskmanager isn't linked to the bottom X button only the top X button of the 6.5 builds. So it's no better than X2 really.

dibbson, I just upgraded the radio and will be interested to see if it improves performance.

I hope the new official ROM has some newer/better files for you to use in the next update.

Ok I am a noob to this stuff but I have been flashing some roms over the past few days and I love this one! Thanks so much

The only think that is driving me nuts is that I love to use the sms/mmms button on my keyboard and it opens the HTC messeging which doesn't seem to work right. I like the WM messeging and was wondering if there is a way to change it so that when I hit that button on my keyboard it will open the WM messeging app?

Hey dibbson

I'm using 23545 (sprint) and am having issue with YouTube. I read the forum pretty much every day, but haven't heard much about YouTube issues. I can play one YT video after a soft reset and then all subsequent videos show 'This video cannot be played'.

I'm thinking about putting 23547 on or the next one. In hopes that the problem goes away.

One thing I did do differently this last burn, was to do it from the SD card (something I have wanted to try and finally thought I would.) Have you ever heard of issues happening when installing from an SD card?
